Within Temptation - Lost (Studio Acoustic Version)

This is an alternate version of Within Temptation's "Lost". I suppose it is a demo of some sort, but either way it is a stripped back version with subtle orchestral elements and no drums or heavy guitar... just the acoustics! Sound very nice and could easily pass for an official acoustic version :)

What a beautiful song, and amazing lyrics. I am not a fan of Sharon's voice on an extremely high register, because it tires me out to hear everything so shrilling, but I love her voice on this type of songs...varied tones, not son high, not so low, and very emotional.

This is an interesting version of the song. You can really hear Sharon's powerful voice. It's very nice to listen to. But, I'm curious where it came from. It almost sounds like some one took the original song and turned down all the heavy elements on the mixing board to zero. I'm not complaining, as it still sounds wonderful. But, just curious...

If you like the acoustic version, the band does have an acoustic album called An Acoustic Night at the Theatre. This song is not on that album, however
