When I was in middle school, I was depressed and suicidal and made the mistake of telling that to the school psychologist. I listened to paradise by coldplay while on the way to be dropped off at a mental health hospital for teens, my mom cried in the car. Still, I love that song to this day. And now that ive heard this version, i love it even more! Thank you Within Temptation

This Wonderful talented Woman could sing anything and it will always sound exceptional. To me she is "pitch perfect," AND she can sing 'live'. Not many can say that! It will be a very sad day when she calls it quits. Long live Sharon and the rest of the group.

actually they did this just the fun of it as part a challenge from a radio station. the band just celebrated their 15th anniversary and were challenged to cover a song from this period and only had a week to prepare for each song which was then was then performed live at the end of the show. it was never intended as cd release but they received so many request for it that gave in and released part of it (they did not get permission to release them all)

These covers were a part a 15 week radio program called, Within Temptation was hired to perform symphonic rock versions of popular songs. Within Temptation hasn't at all lost their originality. So do your research before you suggest that.

i agree with you.... on some songs. but yet, the versions WT bring sometimes differ much from the originals, just like this one, and that is what makes the whole WT band different from the "mainstream" bands out there. they still try to put WT in a box and call it such and such style, but in the end, WT has its own style: making awesome music! ;)
