This song has always been one of Sharon's weaker live because it is written in the same octave as Heart of Everything. I know she claims she never had vocal training, but I think she has gotten tips because she definitely hits notes better now than she did in The Unforgiving era. That said, I stand my ground on the belief that this song is weak live. She has trouble projecting the correct notes over the heavy sound of the band, so she drops it an octave but then she tries to sing some notes in the right octave. Her tone is really wonky. Still, I love them. I just think this song's popularity is a bit inflated.

blackmumba111 Stand My Ground is kinda overrated. There are some other songs from TSF worthy of being played live. e.g. Jillian or Angels,

blackmumba111 she was sick during the concert of Black Symphony. Although I heard her voice got a bit injured, but then she started to recover. It's something normal. Once I had a terrible desease in my throat and my voice got also a bit injured, but in time everything ends up as it used to be before (or similar)

+blackmumba111 Just listen to Hydra, This is such a hard album to sing. Lot of belting and not that sweet high voice from The Silent Force. This era has changed her voice. Because if she is singing things like Jilian (the last theater tour) She still sings it very well.
