I'm on the fence, but to pay this much for something that'll be e-waste in 2-3 years + be forced into a subscription to take full advantage of this watch.. Hope it drops down to $399.99, or include 2 year subscription at the $599.99 price. Nice watch though!

@@CasmurMusic non-serviceable battery. I think 2-3 years is a little aggressive, but not unreal. Even if you did somehow keep the watch in great condition for five years, lets say, there's no way to replace the module inside to get the latest features. Let's be honest with ourselves, if we are buying a smart or hybrid watch, we will want the latest features eventually. As Withings releases more tech, there will come a time when support for the device ends. Now, for contrast, a mid to entry tier mechanical watch can cost the same amount, but will require service after five or so years. Labor alone puts that over a few hundred dollars (US) in today's money. Money spent over time will practically average out if you replaced a smart watch every five years to that of a comparable mechanical watch. But to deny that this watch will one day become e-waste would be denying the truth.
