Love seeing you pull out lander 😩. It’s been rough as a lander main. The neutral does really make it hard. In a 83% eu in ones atm. It’s very rough. Very good opponents. Finding it hard to access stance

i think the best way to initiate with highlander is to use his zone feint to offensive stance, its gb invulnerable and has HA

One fun "mixup" with Highlander i see nobody use is forward dodge pressure in os. If enemy doesn't have great reactions you can do forward dodge grab a few times to condition them to dodge and when they do, you instead wait a little after forward dodge and buffer a kick. Works against all dodge bash characters and empty dodges. Fun af to land as well

Just a friendly tip form a HL main. You should try to use the offensive lights a lil more. I’m not saying spam em ik ur going for content too but it makes them panic a lot more and opens opportunities

Very aware, definitely don’t like using them much personally regardless of how effective it is. They’re kinda cheap and overtuned and I don’t feel good about winning with them normally.

That’s what I’ve been trying to preach to people (highlanders neutral game ) if you understand the matchup Highlander is it easy dub depending on how good the person is because yes, he is a monster when he get into his kit, but he is so easy or at least fairly easy to keep out of it and if he goes into it, there are many heroes who deny his whole kit

Most side-dodge attackers can hit HL out of the kick-feint-to-caber-toss animation. So feinting the kick into GB catches side-dodge attacks more consistently, albeit it's stamina heavy.
