Basically... in this fanfic, Phoenix Wright dies from the poison Dahlia's bottle contained, and his friends have to cope with it. This is a pretty depressing but heartwarming story, and I'm glad I'm able to turn this fanfic made by Boo2020 into an objection.lol! I hope you enjoy this first part~

i want a final case where you *think* he's dead but in reality someone just faked his death as a part of some elaborate crime and you have to figure that out. it'd still destroy us all emotionally in a good plot twist way without actually killing him off, plus i feel like everyone trying to investigate while dealing with their grief would be fun to explore

Goddammit Edgeworth! Would it kill you to be a little more sensitive in regards to relaying such critical news to Trucy and Maya? Geez! But all in all I admit this got me. I think mainly b/c my heart went out to Trucy, as I saw myself in her in regards to all the people she ended up losing. I too have lost a lot of people close to me in my life, just yesterday my grandfather passed, so that's another person to the list of loved ones I've lost. I'm just glad Apollo and Athena both seem to be ready to step up to the plate to look after her and the office. As for Edgeworth, again I know what it's like losing your best friend and whatnot. It just doesn't seem real. I really hope someone like Franziska helps him grieve. Hell maybe even Larry will step up. As for Maya, I think she took it well but I can only imagine she'll break because how much Phoenix means to her and her family. Pearl is going to of course feel devastated b/c of Phoenix was the only positive male figure in her life, and of course she'll feel bad for Maya as well. But the one I think that will take it just as hard as them is Iris. With Maya and Pearl there was a familial bond with Phoenix and they loved him dearly. But Iris? That was her soulmate, her rock, her everything. She loved Phoenix with all her heart and soul. And now he's gone, in which that's going to leave a huge hole in her heart. I really hope Maya and Pearl and Sister Bikini help one another through this hard time.
