I am a very disabled woman and if it weren't for our Lord I probably would not be able to do one single thing at all but every day I manage to do small things with love for him and being thankful for any little thing I can do because I know he is always with me and always helping me and every now and then he surprises me and that is a great day when that happens because I know it is a gift directly from him!! If you have one bad leg and one good leg.. don't concentrate on the bad leg but thank him for the good leg.. if you struggle to walk up a flight of stairs like I do, when you get to the top even though it was a hard struggle, thank him that you made it to the top... if you want to chop vegetables for a salad and it's very difficult because your hand that you would use is wrapped up in a nice bandage but you chop the vegetables very slowly and you managed to make yourself a small salad thinking back when you used to be able to make a used salad for a lot of people.. thank him for the memory of the days when you could do that for other people and thank him for the little salad you manage and struggle to make for yourself!

@@xfactor3135 thank you so much for your nice comment and you might not believe this but I really need it to hear this today! When you're disabled you have some really down days and I am thankful to God and to you!! God works in mysterious ways, does he not??

@@suzieroberts2203 if that ain't that the truth! God is constantly dealing with me in ways that though I do not fully understand, I know He loves me fully and completely in giving them, when going through them, and finally coming out of them into glorious freedom with new found character I didn't have before. Jesus's call is to trust Him always, just like when we first trusted Him to forgive us, and save us from our sins. I'm so glad God encouraged you through my small comment. Be still, and know He is God (pslam 46:10).

Amen! Proverbs 18:10.. the name of the Lord is a strong tower and the righteous run to it and are safe!! One of my favorites!! I can't run because I can barely walk but my mind and my heart will call upon the name of the Lord so many times every day!

How little of it there is in the world, but praise be to our Father who gives us comfort in our times of distress that results not only in us feeling safe, but then glorifying Him from it! The Lord has given me much and has gotten me to understand that to whom much is given, much is required. I see 10,000 teachings and sermons on receiving from God and can't think of any about being responsible for what He has given or gifted us to do for Him. We are to bear fruit for God and not for ourselves, which, is what we are taught to seek after. We can't do anything without Him but, for what or Who are we to be doing anything for? Us? He's got us covered, all our needs and what have you, so He must be meaning we are to bear fruit for God.

The most true disposition of the surrendered soul, as Zac so wonderfully articulates, is that Jesus must become ALL. The greatest men and women throughout the ages, caught this truth. They exemplified an abandonment to the Holy Spirit rarely demonstrated in the modern church. The ancient path is the modern, narrow path. The same path our Messiah walked. 🙏 Amen 🙏 God is always there for you. I learned early in my is to study the word and depend on God for the Holy Spirit. I know this to be true because God has help me in so many of my struggles in my life. Here is one example, God has blessed me in my struggles of speech impairedemet of studdering. God has done so much more. I tell this to my students to have faith and believe. Who would thought the l would become a teacher. I am so grateful and thankful for all of God has done for me. Thank you Zac Poonen for these inspiring words to seek God's earnnessly for the Holy Spirit. I truly believe that. Amen in Jesus name!😊
