Hi Guys! No need to find a manual for a Talbot Express...Just get one for a first-gen Peugeot J5, or Citroën C25, Fiat Ducato 1, Alpha Romeo AR6. All the same vehicle, parts are entirely interchangeable. So long as your engine type is the same, you'll be right as rain.

Awesome thanks for the heads up. Can we get a haynes manual for one of these and that would be the same?
@BigBlueTravels2 ай бұрын
@@TristandKez No idea, but there are plenty of workshop manuals floating around the internet for these oldtimers (I've got one for mine). Finding one in English may be trickier, but they're out there. Have a google :-)

Sweet thanks 🙏. We’ll take a look and see what we can find. We really appreciate the comment and advice. Have an awesome day matey 🤙

My top tip. If you’re free camping always reverse into your park up so if there’s a problem later you can leg it out of there easily. Only happened to me once but so glad I didn’t need to reverse.

Love it 🙌. Sound advice as you never know. Something we keep in mind when parking up 🤙

It’s awesome isn’t it. It’s one of our fav places to be. Wild life and nature everywhere. You don’t have to go far before you are alone in nature. Glad you liked the tips. Hope it helps anyone starting out with vanlife. Have an awesome afternoon guys 🤗

Cheers guys, love your tips, good to cover as many bases as possible 👍 First wild camp night in the van for us last night, loved it! Thanks for your previous advice 🙏💐

@@SimonPlatt thanks for the comment Simon. We love that you found it useful. There’s more we can add so may make an additional video soon. Ah that’s awesome, hope you had a blast and that there’s many more wild camps to come 🤗. Have an great Sunday evening and week ahead 🤙

@@TristandKez There certainly will be more! We woke up next to Mablethorpe beach, Lincs, and walked the beach at 6am! We arrived late and didn't really know where we were but turns out we picked a good place ...there were even public loos there, and open, free and clean, very bizarre it was! Cheers 🙏

@@SimonPlatt Now that looks like a beautiful place to wake up and go for an early morning walk. There really is nothing quite like it is there. We're very excited for you to get some more wild camping under your belt. Also, you can't beat a bit of free facilities. Have an awesome Monday mate.

great tips ,tyre pressures on cold tyres not after a run ,your tips should help alot and save grief, the old vans especially they need more nursing, but get into a simple routine its easy peasy 😇

That’s awesome to hear Antony 🤗. It’s such a lovely campsite right in the forest. Did you get graced by the animals?
@antonyevans39293 ай бұрын
@@TristandKez lots of Squirrels lol. The horses came visiting and on a walk through the forest to the pub we were lucky enough to spot three deer briefly. We fully intend to go back.

@antonyevans3929 ah that’s awesome. They seem to come and go. Hope you get to see them around your van next time. It’s quite I sight to see them so close. When we were at Roundhill campsite last year with the back doors open a donkey popped their nose in to have a snoop around 🤣

Great tips as always. You really don't like to sleep 'on the huh' as we say in Norfolk, do you? I'm in a microcamper/car set up so no room for chocks. When you were talking about breakdown cover it got me curious, how do you cope with not having a permanent address? Obviously, you don't need the 'home start' option, but what about other situations where you'd need an address? Or do you just use Trist's dad? Seems like he deserves his own episode, you've got us curious.The New Forest is awesome. I had a great study trip there as part of my work with National Parks learning about their ponies and going to a sale and to one of the commoners houses. Really interesting and unique set-up.

Thanks Lottie. Haha there a few people we’d contact but wanted to see if my dad watches these videos. We are in love with the new forest. We still have so much more to learn about the place and the animals. We still can’t believe you only have to walk a short distance to be in peace and quiet. Hope you having an aeration Sunday 😎🤙

How did we forget that one. We’ve used tea lights to boil our water for coffee when we’ve run out of gas. This is not official advice 🤣
