Wow! I got chills just seeing the video. Having my mom bail out on my siblings and i was not easy, and seeing my dad sacrifice so much, being mom & dad. 19 years later i know nothing of her, pero gracias a dios my dad found someone who loves him and takes good care of him, and so thankful que el nunca se rindio, and maybe i didnt turn out to be best person, pero si muy independiente, luchona y ver la vida positivamente and one thing for sure, my kids will never have to go thru this because mom will always be there.

I've loved this song since the album came out and the video just brought me to tears 💔 I experienced a similar situation from the daughter's perspective. I was 13 years old and my little sister was only 9. So many people, including myself, fall hard and give up on life after living something so heartbreaking. I began to lose my self esteem and I began to find it harder to trust anyone. Thank god that I found the strength to push forward for the sake of my father and little sister. Today, I am 17 and in May I graduate from high school with 97% of my credits completed for an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. My mother is still in my life but sadly I have lost just about all respect for her. And though I have been able to do good for myself, I will admit that I will most likely seek psychological help in the near future. To all the people out there who have children, before you act, please think long and hard about how your actions will affect your children. You may think that your child(ren) are young and that they don't know what is going on, but they do. Children see and hear everything that happens around them and they suffer more than anyone else involved.

And yeah my dad is always here when she is gone but I am 14 years old and I am going to be graduating for junior high. And my brothers and sister are only 13,11,9, and 2. Well this song hits hard and differently now. Almost the same thing happened to me, my ex left me and my kids. Her "boyfriend" is in another state (met on dating app POF) he got in trouble and she just up and left without saying anything to me or our kids took a plane and left, she her nursing job all of it behind for this guy. Yes I caught her cheating just before this happened weeks before it but state law prevents me from kicking her out. I hate living in a "no fault state". Well it's hard to listen to this song cause it's so relatable. Now she's broke and pregnant with her boyfriend who's under home incarceration. Since I have a good job my kids are taken care of and having to buy back my cars and any joint property we have. 17 years of marriage thrown away cause she "feels" I was a bad husband and abusive so wtf. There's lots more details I won't put on here but this song just hits so hard. I hear and read stories of the men leaving or being pushed out but my situation when the mom leaves the kids is just rare. I'm thankful I have my kids and I can see them everyday. It been a rough year since she left and tracking her down wasn't easy. Yes she left and didn't tell us where she was living at in the other state I bearly found out over a month ago so filing any paperwork has been difficult and saving money is hard when cost of living keeps going up. I will keep blasting this song and time does heal most wounds some take longer than others but betrayal cuts the deepest especially when you see your kids hurting too from someone who you would protect and give your life too just for them the knife you in the back. I'll never get married again just for her to cheat lie and will try and take half of everything and pay for a kid that isn't mine. Thank you MC Magic for writing this song I can't imagine what pain inspired it.
