Thank you for this cover Evynne! Little did I know when I saw RENT a long time ago, that it would become the soundtrack of my life. Fighting cancer since 2010 each song has played out at some point in my life. "Without You" holds a special place for me as I had to spend so much time apart from my wife of only six months at the time to get treatment while she worked two jobs at home to make ends meet and pay medical bills.

This made me cry. I lost my mother to cancer back in August and I miss her like crazy every single day. It is a devastating loss. She was my best friend in the entire world and my world is not the same without her. This song really resonates with me because it’s exactly how I feel. Tears shed here... saw Rent on stage years ago and fell in love with it flaws n all! Also play the CD in my car quite often, your voice is much nicer that the performance on my copy! This almost always brings me to tears because I lost my Marc in 2014 and I really relate to the gap that can be felt when someone dies too young. Thank you for such a lovely lovely version.

Much I love Peters version of the song, I think your version wins this one. Absolutely heartbreakingly beautiful Evynne. My favourite since your cover of Brave by Sara Bareilles. I don't even have anyone particular that this song brings to mind, though for some reason the emotion you put into it brings to mind everyone I have ever lost and every change I wish i hadn't had to experience. While this is probably the saddest, most emotional song you have ever sung, it is also one of the most amazing songs you have ever sung and I am very grateful for that.
