Not doing it for me. I feel like the hook and the beat are conflicting. The beat has this upbeat happy vibe, and the hook is on the darker side. The beat is good, and the hook is great, but they dont feel right together. That's simply my opinion. Im sure there's an artist out there who will find a way to mesh it. However, that isn't in my bag of tricks. I'd like to hear what direction someone would go with it.

Mate ever heard of Jon Bellion? He produces bubblegum pop music (not an insult) with very deep lyrics. That’s the best thing about it, the contrast between the dark lyrics and the happy beat/children singing. The right rapper will make you feel some things on this beat.
