I will admit this was a pretty good adaptation... Although some scenes did almost make me cry, Alive or not, it's always sad to see those giant iron horses get cut up. Other than that, you did a very good adaptation Mickey, well done... I think we can all agree on this. "Long live, the iron horses of the rails"😢

The worst part is that Howard's class was built in 1946, so he wasn't even that old. An engine like him could've stayed in service until the 1970s. Steam engines built after the war had their working lives cut short by dieselization. The end of steam was inevitable, but steam engines were taken from us too soon.

This was one of the saddest stories I have heard. Poor Oliver and his friends were hiding and trying to get to the Island of Sodor. But being a witness to an engine being cut up is very shocking and horrifying. I felt sorry for Howard, no hope for him and he was on his way out. The midnight chat he had with Oliver felt emotional.

Another well done on the adaptation Mickey. While there were some scenes that were accurate like Oliver hiding next to the old shed, it was still a pretty good adaptation. I’ve honestly should’ve that small missing to my adaption I did long ago. 🙂

Okay I have a question why is Oliver hiding from diesel trains why are they looking for a steam engine so many questions what's the point of that I know this is supposed to be a horror story but I can't get over that one little bit of fact you seem to forgot to add in your story
