The last two times that the elders told me they were coming by for a shepherding call, I simply told them that would not be welcome. I didn't want any more meddling into my business, and that is what I told them. They actually seemed relieved as I think that they were only doing it out of duty anyway.

I'm not a JW, but have JW acquaintances, and I have only just discovered you. Those poor deluded fools, they don't realise that the ultimate head of the org is the father of lies. They are like Pharisees - they can't go into the kingdom themselves and they do their best to stop anyone else going in either. But our Father is mighty and if you belong to Him, He WILL rescue you. I love the fact that you have come on this journey. I left in 83. My parents stayed in. I watched untill they died, all the changes the organization went through. Being free, one can truly see the false teachings and mind control they use on people. Praise God you found your way out. I too have studied lots of things over the years to find the truth. 20 years of the Witnesses never taught me as much as God has showed me since I left. Bless you and your work!

@Captain Buff The Third Most ex-JW's are so burnt out on religion that they don't look at any further. That really speaks volumes about anyone's experience in a cult that is so horrible that they churn out atheists and agnostics like an assembly line. I know hundreds of ex-JW's and only two went to another religion. The rest don't ever want to get caught up another religious nightmare again. @Captain Buff The Third I have left and I have not followed anther organisation or religion but just followed the Bible, Jehovah and Jesus. Jesus asked us to follow him and give praise to jah. He didn't say we had to follow a man made religion. Just him pure and simple. Live our lives as Christians and we can witness in many ways. Hope you never loose your faith. PS I do not hate Jehovah's witnesses but respect all who practice what the Bible and God teaches. All Christian religion s have something we can dispute. Truth is truth and can only be found with an open heart and asking for God to guide us

You are fantastic!....I love the way you think!...I slowly disassosiate myself back in 1991 after 21 years as a JW...I was 26...I could the coruption back then...I had a similar thing happen to me...all my family are JWs and didnt want to loose them.. but I played the game with a 4 Elders in my congregation...I played stupid when all along i had full control..I have so many things on these foolish poeple its rightly laughable...Last year in The AUSTRALIA ROYAL COMMISSION INTO CHILD SEX ABUSE CASE 29 JEHOVAHS WITNESS. ..The stupid Governing body member Jeffry Jackson lied under oath so many times...The counsel took him to task on so many Biblical matters including the two witness rule and the case of the mosaic law of a woman being raped in the field she had no witness and that the rapist was stoned to death...Same should be the case in a child abuse case...They also mention the fact that there was a Female judge Debra in the Bible who made judicial decisions...Jeffrey Jackson said tjey would look into that...I can believe it to a QC to tell those fools that its not rocket sience and should not be a mens only club..He Jeffrey Jackson also said a beauty when asked "And do you see yourselves the (governing body) as the only source of spiritual food on earth today?...His answer should have been yes...Right?..Well I fell over backwards..he said.."That would be presumptous of us to think we are the only ones God is using" Well blow me down...hes either lying to the Australian Royal commission. .or they are lying to every JW on the planet....Anyhow so much is coming out more very soon from the land contamination at Warwick...Yep more law suites!...Anyhow loved your story...if I had more energy I would tell you the stupid things my group of Elders did...but you know what...I single handedly outsmarted them...its trully amazing when the switch flicks over and you can really see just what is going on...I took it so slowly as not to alert anyone but I sat back and laughed and am still laughing...My life has been sweet since 1991..Thank god!...I am living and have lived the real life!...Cheers Frank

Frank Ratta - When I heard Jeffrey Jackson say that, I noticed also that he said it was HIS personally opinion, therefore leaving the rest of the body off the hook on that one. The question should have been asked of ALL the body members. Since I had read Ray Franz' book, I wondered if Jackson was actually telling the truth, that he was one that didn't go along with the rest of the body and really did feel there might be others out there. Just my thought anyway. : )

Hi I started just unambiguous research in the last month & also found the Australian High Commission report. I mentioned it to my family also JW's & was told it's fake news & propaganda. NOT to look anymore. Most JW's are scared & brain washed to the extent that they would rather pretend you don't exist than face the ugly fact...The organization of Watchtower are WRONG. Well I having never been a JW but studying them in hopes of reaching one that knocks on my door, found your transcript of the "trial" very revealing. It is an interesting insight into the mind set of those trapped in a cult that truly cannot think for themselves. Logic and reason have no place in their thinking what so ever. It only inspires me all the more to help wake up as many as I can to the real truth. Thank you for putting the time and effort into transcribing it for us.

I also had a 2nd tape recorder. When the meeting first started I pulled out my 1st recorder and empty the batteries on the table, however I never told them that I was't recording them. When they figured it out, I told them that the WT lesson that day was on bragging how David faked insanity, and then added that WT trained me well. lol

I have no doubt that you're telling the truth very accurately, it tends to be devout JWs espcially elders,who lie and are deceitful and have no qualms evading the truth. I found when leaving I could finally be honest and tell the truth because there was nothing to be frightened of anymore

After watching #1 and #2 all I can truthfully say is"An honest man as a JW and still an honest man after leaving the JWs But one thing is for sure you have a proper relationship with the heavenly father now. One based on accurate knowledge and a proper heart condition and not doctrine and policy. THIS is what the father is looking for and will judge all mankind accordingly when that time arrives. Great story Anthony :-) I would have loved to have been there to watch all of the expressions. They are not used to disobedience. LOL or dealing with someone who is not scared in their boots. It's ridiculous that they even came after you since it had been 3 years since they saw you at a meeting. They should be ashamed. What a kangaroo court. Thanks for sharing your two stories. My Grand mother carried a gramophone with her when she joined the Rutherfords, she had believed that the world would end in 1914, the year she gave birth to her youngest son, then war broke out she moved back to London, as a small girl I had to hand out leaflets in the streets of Sydney, and try and give or sell a magazine I think it was called something like conciliation it became the awake, I would be dragged to meetings with her and my father, my mother never went until in 1948. She hid her extra relations under the cloud of religion. For me very bad memories.

Sisters can be sent to your door also, so as to use anything you say against you, for the elders.That is why I had to hide from them, while doing my investigation that lasted a month.

This is so sweet to my ears 👂 💗... I D/A myself in 1985, less than 6 months after my baptism. I was abused physically, morally and CSA..from birth. I was 17 years old when I wrote the shortest letter of disassociation... I just knew it was a cult/ secte and I wrote it down, plain and simple. They had to come to my parents place to get it. My only regrets: not going to child abuse protection and not recording the horrors they told me. The funniest 🤣 😂 😭 part was when they asked for me to write ✍️ on the letter a "codicile" sorry, I just know that word in French.... they asked me to write that I rejected the Bible. Oh! That was funny because I said: not a problem... give me that short notice and I'll be pleased to write that I reject your version of the Bible.... It was quicker than anything I saw 👀 😅 😐 🙃 they retrived the letter from me and told me that it was not necessary... This was the apology of them knowing they are wrong!! I thought about that 🤔 for decades now and it always brings me a great smile 😃 😊 They didn't kill me// they tried so much to destroy my life since birth...LMAO... Edit: I was 17 years old at the time... was shunned in my own house 🏠 "parents " house... it was not a happy time 😕

I have some friends who are JWs and I pity them and want them to wake up which is why I watch videos like yours. I think one thing those of us who have never been JWs would like to know is how should we respond to JWs when they call on our doors or we meet them in the street with their literature. What is the best way of talking to them?

I really enjoy your videos. I was only studying for five years since 2011 until August of last year. I left due to the hypocrisy of the sister that I was studying with all of those years. I was so hurt be her hypocrisy I had to ask myself, what in the world am I getting myself into? So I investigated the organization from outside sources this time. After watching your video describing Judicial hearings, I have a serious question. In many cases, Elders will chase down an individual, couple, or family - to confront them with a charge of apostasy, even if that party/parties have attempted to quietly 'fade'. The Elders seem to be of one mind in saying that the seriousness of the charge of Apostasy REQUIRES their diligence. How many times do we also hear that the sin is even MORE serious when the Apostasy is common knowledge to the public. Are all charges of Apostasy diligently undertaken for ANY active member of the Jehovah's Witnesses? Is any member of the congregation above reproach, or are ALL members equally held to the same standard? IF so,..... what if someone were to formally make the charge of Apostasy for the words of Governing Body member Geoffrey Jackson based upon his PUBLIC testimony at the Royal Commission hearings? He stated UNDER OATH that he thinks it would be presumptuous for the Governing Body to claim to be the SOLE spokesperson for the will of God on earth today. That PERSONAL OPINION is in DIRECT VIOLATION of the current "Truth" being taught by the organization. As such, he is guilty of the charge of Apostasy (as defined by WTBTS). I expect a FULL INVESTIGATION by the elders in his congregation and a MARKING of him (ONLY if he is repentant), with a removal of privileges, etc. If he is immune to such investigation of charges, how can a higher standard be applied to individuals that no longer identify as active members? I would enjoy hearing your thoughts on this.

Every former JW that I've spoken with about this feels this scenario is a pipe dream, and I suppose it is. But what a classic example of a double standard. How can anyone follow ANY leader (Religious or otherwise) that feels that the rules for the rank and file simply do not apply to them.If ANY active JW said EXACTLY the same thing during recorded testimony, the punishment would be swift and terrible.

I think I would still do the same. I believed that they could not disfellowship me (and they never did) because they would have had to break there own rules to do so. The main reason I met them was to expose the foolishness and injustice of their system, which is "supposedly" led by their god.

Not only is this against all the rules of natural justice, but to phone you and be all palsywalsy like your old friends but their intention is to hold a trial is deceit and below the belt. You could have listened and set a new date for your defence. The big question in my mind is why after three years did they find it important to approach you, surely by the fact that you had not been in contact for three years meant in itself that you didn't want to associate. NOT ALLOWED by who's say so Transcripts do take a long time, I've done them also. At the end of the day what a waste of everyone's time, WTF ???

It served a purpose of showing people what really happens when "loving, shepherds of the flock" meet with errant JWs. That's why I did it. It proved to be a huge embarrassment for Watchtower, who tried successfully ( but only temporarily) to close down my Freeserve website and it helped many to realise that they could fight back.

They seek certainty and "truth", but I would rather live in the certainty of uncertainty. I doubt that there are definitive answers out there.

You can leave and not be Disfellowshiped or Disassociated but they will Disassociate themselves from you, even fleshy family members, I know that to be true because that's what happened to me not that it bothers me because I didn't want to associate or speak to people with there Head's buried in the sand and only repeat what they have been told not what they themselves have learnt for themselves, they let others do there thinking for them.
