Legendary music producer Quincy Jones has said of Jacob Collier, "I have never in my life seen a talent like this." He is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger and producer. In his young career, he has so far been nominated for 12 Grammy Awards, winning 6. Jacob is so crazy talented (he's won 6 Grammys). I definitely recommend you check out some of his other stuff. His arrangement of Moon River is a mind blowing vocal arrangement, I really like the song Little Blue ft. Brandi Carlile, really anything live of his is good. Also any of the covers he did when he was a teenager are crazy. Would love to see you check out more of his stuff.

It's always amusing to see people going into a Jacob Collier reaction having never heard of him before. He's only the Mozart of our time. He's a legend and most of the public doesn't realize it yet, and may never. And strangely, lots of people don't even like his music. But he makes the music that he feels. And the message that he feels. Every serious musician wants to work with him. He's a genius. This song on the album was recorded by Jacob along with Gospel legend Kirk Franklin, Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes, and British rapper Stormzy.. Not Tori, though she is featured on the track from the same album that everybody's talking about, Bridge Over Troubled Water -- along with John Legend and Yebba. This particular performance on Jimmy Kimmel was tremendous. Playful, inspiring, and showing all the genius he and the artists he works with usually do..

Jacob wrote this. The original version included the Kirk Franklin gospel choir and 2 others but not Tori. You should totally check out some more of Jacob Colliers stuff. It's MIND MELTING. Def his cover of Moon River. As well as his performance of Somebody To Love Live In Lisbon. He does this thing where he turns his audience into a choir and it's BANANAS! There's a reason every single project he's released has won him a Grammy.

Jacob Collier has now released 5 albums… 9 grammy nominations; 5 wins. he is a once in a generation (if not once in a century) talent who is a composer/arranger/producer/self-taught multi-instrumentalist genius who has perfect pitch and never uses a click track or auto-tune for his 3+ octave range. You are doing your ears (and your spirit) a great disservice by not taking a trip down the JC rabbit hole. He has been making his own videos for easily 10 years… you have some catching up to do. You should also listen to the now available album version of this track… as well as the track Tori IS on.

For your information. Jacob wrote this. If you want to hear his range, try Moon River. He wrote and recorded this video in one week. After the beginning with many famous helpers singing one note, he performs all the voices himself. The video is over 8 minutes and it got him his 3rd Grammy. if you ask him, what instuments can you play or range you can sing, the answer will be yes. His first Grammy was in 2017. He now has 6. He won Grammys for his first 4 albums. As said below watch "in my room" tv documentary to understand the brilliance of Jacob.I have subscribed and hope that you show more Jacob

However, given Collier's fabulous keyboard skills which give him access to synth facsimiles, and ridiculous singing talent and 'harmoniser', I don't feel there's likely to be much need for him to learn. If you like Tori collabing with Jacob, you gotta check out Bridge Over Troubled Water from Djesse 4 (though there's no full music video or live performance yet). If you want to see Jacob shine, you could go for something intricately mellow like Hideaway (the music video) or Little Blue (live Mahogany Sessions version), or something more wild and energetic like All Night Long.
