This is EXACTLY the sort of graphic detail people need to hear. Too many people seem to imagine the deceased like a movie character with a neat little hole where the bullet goes in. The reality is splintered bones and severed limbs and faces being blown off. When you have to identify children by their clothes or shoes, that tells you about the severity of the injuries. And more people need to hear it.

On Twitter, you had pictures of these poor people...brain matter, faces blown off, etc. Just awful and nothing I wanted to see(couldn't sleep at all that night), but possibly needed for those that continue to go on about the 2A... there was also a video, but I'm glad I never saw it. It's just insanity, this state-sanctioned domestic terrorism.

@@SUGAR_XYLER Details? Little kids with their faces blown off and lots of brain matter everywhere. Looked like almost everyone was head or face shot. Most of them were caught right outside the mall trying to hide behind a planter and were executed. I don't know why you thought you needed to hear that but there you go.

This is so unforgiveable. I left the US after six years working in an inner-city ER. On an average weekend, I saw more gunshot paediatric patients than I had seen in an average month working in combat zones from the Balkans to East Africa to Central Asia. A child is safer in Tanzania or Turkey today than he/she is in Texas! 😢

I had appealed to the parents of the Sandy Hook shooting to release the photos of that massacre of their children, so the American public could see first hand what an AK15 does to the human body. All those poor children that were slaughtered. Some of them piled up together next to the adult in the middle, the teacher, who tried to protect them as they all ran to her...at least that detail was leaked. I know how difficult it would be for these parents to do this, but I do believe the country will finally wake up!! The parents could see this as something good coming out of all the bad, and that the loss of all their children's lives was not in vain. Incidentally from Info Wars, many in the Republican Party believed it never happened because they never saw any pictures. They believed it to be a false flag to take away their guns........ It is the only way to stop this carnage!! Right now it is so sensitized that we see absolutely nothing when this happens in the US. I even get forget about them and tend to get many of the shootings mixed up! Most people died in the Las Vegas shooting but very few people remember that one. (Yet, when Kenya suffered a terrorist attack where a terrorist (of one particular religion, KZbin will censor the comment if I say the name but you all which religion I am referring to) used an AK15 style weapon and shot all the people in the mall, the US did not have any problem in showing all the bloody ghastly scenes which I still see in my head right now. I vividly remember the video of the dinning room, of people either hunched over in their chairs or had fallen back, all of who were shot when they stopped for a coffee break with a snack. I still see their coffee cups and feel of the dead eerie silence of all the countless bodies still in their chairs and a few on the ground surrounded by pools of blood. The Africans were outraged, and rightly so, the racist US is so careful not to broadcast those same images here in the US, but has no problem showing dead Africans slumped over in their chairs and the pools of blood. I do also recall one body on the ground as it appeared that he didn't die immediately but had tried to crawl to a place to hid but didn't make it. So the hypocrisy is disgusting! ) The British refer to America as the place where all nuts carry guns!

I've written this elsewhere.. We can all sit and practice handwringing. The fact is: The US has had 2550+ mass shootings in the past 3 years. By comparison Germany has had 3. IF Germany had as many mass shootings as the US pr. Capita - then Germany would've had 552+ mass shootings. You have all decided that you prefer dead kids and adults running around in the woods playing cowboys and indians, rather than safe kids and responsible adults. The US is a democracy - don't like mass shootings? Vote for someone who will actually do something about it. If the chosen elective doesn't do something about mass shootings? - Vote for someone else. Don't point fingers at the shooter who must be mentally ill, or their friends and family who is powerless to prevent the shooter from getting a gun. Point the finger of blame at yourself for voting politicians into office who will do nothing about gun control.

Once had a guy argue online that ‘ I sounded stupid when I said assault weapon. There’s no such thing as an assault weapon’ he was a proud gun owner and owned multiple guns, was teaching his 10 year old how to be a responsible gun owner blah blah blah. He said he had a 9mm handgun and AR-15 and that both would kill. I agreed but offered that one was more efficient and effective at killing and if he didn’t believe me he should go to office max and buy 4 standard reams of paper. Then, get his son to help by placing those 4 reams to his temple with the barrel of each gun flush against the paper then pull the trigger. One would give him a head ache, the other would send him to the morgue. No one needs an AR-15 for hunting or self defense. An AR-15 is designed to kill people . Efficiently. Effectively. Period. End of argument. No one needs a 30, 40, 50, 100 round magazine to hunt or for self-defense. AR-15’s are for cosplaytriots who spent 4 years in the military and miss how big their penis was while enlisted. Or for cosplaytriots who had bone-spurs and never got to have a big penis. We need legislation with very real punishment for anyone that commits crime with a gun. The answer is not more guns. There is no such thing as good guy with a gun. This happened in Texas FFS. They should! And I watch Fox News! It’s a problem! It’s just not a gun problem! It’s a societal problem! Up until columbine there was zero issues about gun control know why? Because people didn’t go out and shoot up schools then. So what’s changed? Did the guns just become alive, pick themselves up and kill others? Well of course not, the people in our society have become mentally ill, radicalized, depressed, divided. You could ban every gun on the block. People will just get more creative like burning down large buildings, or large trucks into crowds. What I’m telling you is, is that you could wipe guns off the face of the earth, and some angry guy is ganna hop into a semi and take out just as many people if not more. The only difference is now when you go to get mugged and robbed on the street or worse, the only thing your pulling out is a knife at best! The criminal already is a criminal! Meaning he probably still has his gun or got another! Meaning now the criminals have all the guns, and you go shopping getting caught with your pants down!

People can die from bullets in one of two ways: when organs are directly hit as bullets pass through the body or through the cavitation effect. Anyone who shoots off their guns over 100s or 1000s of times leads them to visualize the effects from their bullet on a human being as a sight they enjoy off their own ill advised mind. Even half the cops have this need of actual target being a human being of shooting from their guns. I've met a lot of cops WHO NEVER HAD TO SHOOT OFF THEIR GUNS as a priority of their jobs and proud of not having to shoot off their weapons. Target range areas is like a gym of the punching bag being hit to release their stress or anger or just a fun thing to do. I've owned a gun for decades only going to shooting range once 30 years ago knowing it's best not to make habit of enjoying the privilege of 2nd amendment as it's stored away for many years now as it's an example of many others like myself of not being one of those gung ho fanatics that surrounds their personality around their guns.

@@jhdgtyhaja You can stretch the line of that stance as far as you want, and that defines much of the problem. This is because the premise on which it is based actually has no basis in actual logic, and distances us from the victims (if not dehumanizes) with the ol' "They asked for it!" stance; thereby eliminating all empathy or sympathy. Ask yourself if they really "asked for it" any more than anyone else. Did they value their lives and love their families so much less than you or I? “They asked for it!” is identical to the argument made by those on the pro-gun side. If you’re anti-gun, you’re making the same argument as a pro-gun person. At least that’s how I see it. Both sides are blaming the state of someone’s stance on how to deal with violence with their being a victim of violence. It’s all ridiculous. We have a societal issue that is raising its ugly head in locations that vote on both sides of the aisle. I think it’s much more fruitful to talk about that. Why are we so broken that we have people resorting to this? Is it because we asked for it?

That family he described was the boy who lost his parents and brother. The dad and mom sacrificing themselves for him knowing that at least he would survive. As a father i would do the same. But this didnt need to happen.

Father, I ask that you wrap your arms around Family, Friends, Brother’s and Sister’s who were injured.. Please talk to them and bring guidance into their lives with your Word.. Father, I ask that you please bring healing for any injuries, healing from the hurt, pain, and sadness, healing from worry and anxiety, healing from depression and grief, healing from anything else that may bring harm to their body and homes.. Father, I ask that you please bring healing, comfort, and peace to their mind and heart for their loss.. Father, I ask that you please remove the sadness and replace it with happiness, love, laughter and tears of joy for the memories made and for the memories they can make in Heaven.. Father, I ask that you please provide for any assistance or needs that they may have and I ask that you please bring blessings into their lives so that they may be a blessing for others.. In Jesus name, I pray.. Amen!!!

@@niclewis9610 ar is not military issue weapon. they are using rifle grenades against normal kids in myanmar but what do you know about that. this is the trend since the 90s everytime before elections. what was the motive of the woman that shot those kids a few weeks ago? this is so bogus. even the "1st responder" in the interview was laughing. why did steven paddock shoot that festival in vegas and where did his money come from? why so secretive on these profiles?

How about all this secularism isn't worth it. This didn't used to happen when everyone went to church.
@shaan702

@@SelectCircle Sweden, Japan, the UK, and Germany are all much, much less religious than the US. The US has one of the highest rate of church attendance and religious affiliation amongst developed nations. Yet despite this, the murder rate is much lower in these countries and the number of mass shootings are practically non existent. This indicates that being more religious is correlated with higher rates of mass shootings/violence. So either being more religious causes more violence or….. it has nothing to do with religion or secularism(this is the truth).

How are you becoming numb to this as a nation?! Sincerely, someone from a country (Australia) who thankfully passed good and effective gun control laws and haven’t had a mass shooting since then in April 1996.

That's a complete lie. Australia has had several mass shootings since then. Look at Switzerland, which has very lax gun laws and very little violence. It's not the guns

That's wonderful. But since you don't share a border with Mexico, who makes its living smuggling in things that are banned yet Americans want, we will always have a gun problem just like we have a drug problem although we banned those too.

The Republican politicians are all bought off by the NRA to protect the gun industry’s bottom line. Then anyone who calls for gun control, they fearmonger their own voting base by telling them the Government wants to take away their ability to protect themselves. So then bend and keep allowing these gruesome shootings to happen. The Governor of Texas all the way up to Republicans in Congress who do nothing have blood on their hands.

Seriously, you live on your single continent. If someone does something bad you literally suspend flights and your criminal is stuck. There has to be a better alternative but taking guns away so people can protect themselves is not the solution. Then only the bad guys would have them. Black market guns are huge.

So many people are saying we need to ban guns, and so many people are saying we need to reform mental health. The truth is we need *_both_* , at the same time. The US needs a Gun license, it should include a mental health eval (among other checks) where they interview your family and friends and look into social media to look for mental illness, suicidal tendencies, or terrorist/gang affiliation. New Zealand does this and its not perfect, some people slip through the cracks, but I believe it would greatly reduce the frequency of tragedies like these.
