Newbie here and to experience this with my little boy. Are these crawlers good for sand boxes and dirt terrain? I really like the ascent models for their value but scared of improper use. Thanks Happy Holidays

Actually, this is a perfect beginner rig!!! To make a point, the whole second half of the video (in the big, cool rock area) was driven by my wife - she doesn't drive RC cars at all but did a great job and made it look amazing!! And yes, this car will work in all forms of dirt, however we wouldn't recommend ANY RC cars in sand without some maintenance afterward. The fine sand particles find their way into all the nooks and crannies and can damage gears and bearings pretty quick.

The frame is stretched for the longer body per all the other video testers on KZbin. Cool looking. I’ve tried both 1/24 and 1/18 scale. I’ll stick with my 1/10 rigs.

We love our 1/10 scale rigs as well but, when traveling, the smaller trucks are much more manageable to deal with. Or, if you have smaller spaces, these can be the way to go as well. There's room for everything in our tiny little industry! :)
