Witness the Incredible Journey: From the Crusher to Cruiser - 1971 C10 Transformation

The build and transformation of the 1971 Chevrolet C10. saved from the Junkyard crusher just in time. The complete airbag suspension, disc brakes, CPP suspension. The anemic 307 with a three on the tree transmission to the fire breathing 418 stroked small block. 700 r4 transmission. Pictures and part numbers of almost everything we could think of. We transformed this truck in weeks.Late nights and early morning while still clocking in hours at our day jobs. We had a goal of taking it to Dinos Chevy only truck show and loaded the trailer hours before we had to be there. Are there was plenty of mishaps missing parts and of coarse the urge to quit and just get some sleep. Dinos was an amazing show we met some new friends and wearable to show off all the work it took t make this truck amazing. The EFI gets better with every drive, Its already too fast I can't imagine when it actually finishes learning the motor.

Roll pan, bed box, for sale sign and bags? Thats a pass for me. Overall pretty nice though. Patina would be killer if the bed matched.

88-90...Chevy truck buckets and console you can find them on market place pretty cheap . Ive bought several sets for around $100-150 And they fit nice. After 1990 tchevy went to a high back bucket. Just doesnt look right to me. Any way i enjoyed this video and i hope the info helps.

Thanks for the feedback we appreciate it. It was a lot of late nights. Thanks for the info I will look into that still has that broken old bench seat in it. I agree the high backs wouldn’t look right in that truck.

@@Firebrosgarage I have a 89 Bench seat in my 72. You have to drill holes inthe floor but it bolts right in and its the perfect height! I would send you a picture if i could but it wont let me.
