I lived in Coco for 5 months until December of 23. It’s the dirtiest beach town in all of Costa Rica. The beach and water are very gross and dirty all year round, tons of sand bugs because of… the town is dirty with lots of Putas, the prices are way inflated in High Season and it’s a super white colony of people who came to Costa Rica and settled 30 mins from the Airport. Be honest bro!

Well all that garbage Was removed the following day. Generally CR is crazy clean if you compare it to many other developing countries. Regarding the rest I did notice everything you mention in Jaco and puntarenas area. It’s sad.
