I don’t understand the whole “we need more female traders” and I’m a girl myself. I couldn’t care less if a trader is a woman or a man. The market doesn’t care either. But I guess it’s just an American thing to always put a lot of importance on a persons gender or race. Just an observation.

@@TheLightOfMyWindow Well it might just be because I see how smart and capable my fiancé is that I always wondered how she would do as a trader. Could be a generalization and I'll acknowledge it if I'm wrong but her detachment from the competition and being ego-driven is something I think is incredible for trading success... Either way it does create a positive role model. I'm a minority myself and came from a background in pro-gaming where there are were literally less than a half dozen role models for female gamers. Whether or not it is gender, race or whatever... it helps to see people who you can identify with succeeding because it creates a roadmap for people on the fence about taking risks. It's only a positive and deserves some praise, just my opinion it really doesn't matter what I think.

@@BrianLeeTrades Thank you for your elaborate answer. I appreciate it. Your girlfriend seems like she does have the qualities and the mindset to become a profitable trader. Anyway, my point was that people seem to put too much pressure on things that in reality do not matter; most of the time so that they can validate the ever-growing “victim mentality”- ive noticed it’s especially common in the US- people always pulling the race/gender card as an excuse/reason they can’t succeed whereas often times it is not the case. That’s why I love the market- it’s color blind and gender neutral. No excuse, you can only blame yourself. All retail traders have equal chance to succeed.

@@BrianLeeTrades As a Newbie learning OTC stocks and learning by looking over my husbands shoulder while he trades and or looks at charts, I've found that my predictions on how the trades would go was on par. I took the statement of "we need more female traders" as an encouragement and invitation to get into trading which seemingly is more of a male dominated industry. I am challenging myself in a territory that can be very intimidating and is completely out of my comfort zone. If Jack and Mariana can do it, ANYONE can. All the best to to you!

All trading is: Experience, and using the right technics to take advantage of that experience. When right, he's up huge, when wrong, he's down small. - did a lot of buying stocks into strength. didn't like being red on positions. didn't work. then started buying stocks in dips. eg panic dipbuy - still did first green day and b/os, but instead of buying into strength, waited for dips to get in at a better price with better risk/reward. very patient. didn't fomo too much into strength -otcs better because could read otcs more clearly than nasdaq. more manipulation on nasdaq - took multiple trades per day and let the singles add up. - size up when the market gets hot. - size up when the pattern makes sense. not every stock you trade deserves bigger size. the patterns you're really comfortable in. that have a ton of volume, providing the best, cleanest patterns. size up on those. - slower market = adapt to the market.

Tim Syske is an educator not a mentor same with Nate from Investors Underground. I learned the patterns from them. How ever I learned to trade my strategy from Mark Douglas and Paula T Webb. If you dont like Tim Syskes then Nate would be a better option. Understand that there is a difference between and educator and a mentor, I like Tim Syskes and Nate they are the only true stock educators out there.

2021 proves OTC can be way more unstable and inconsistent than listed stocks. If youre looking for homeruns, go for OTC's, if youre looking for consistent growth and gains, stick to listed.

@@bballah9969 Because in otc's you're competing against 40 year olds trying to get rich in their basement vs billion dollar funds, algos, dark pools and massive dilution. Otc's are extremely technical, slow moving, the level 2 and tape is easily read and understood, and if you study it well you can trade them pretty easily. all trading is high risk. I'd rather have control of my position in an otc where i can exit on a level 2 turn before a wash out vs being smacked in the face with a listed offering. Thats why.

@@tannerhughes11 So if OTC tickers are easier to trade then why do the majority of traders don't trade them? Ross Cameron and Madaz Money don't trade them as well as others so that says something. Also the head trader with the group I'm with is a former award winning hedge fund trader and he doesn't trade them as well so there must be a reason. There's a reason these sketchy companies are trading in OTC and not main listed stocks.

@@bballah9969 Tons of traders trade them. for the last 3 months thats been the bulk of scan.. Ross cameron live streams and his sheep just plow into whatever he buys and kills momentum, he makes money but no one else does. Madaz is a monster and trades MASSIVE size in and out, on things trading hundreds of millions $ a day with tons of liquidity. OTC's average 1m-5m $ volume which isn't enough for people scalping $500k positions. but for someone with $2k that can make 50% in a day they are extremely reliable if you understand the mechanics. for the same reason massive hedge funds don't trade stocks under $5, people like madaz don't trade otc's. not enough liquidity for the size they want to push. but for the small guy (us) they are VERY relaxed and straight forward. and yeah, they are otc's for a reason, they are all trash. but that doesn't mean there isn't volatility to take advantage of. these are NOT investments. they are trading vehicles.

Thanks for the idea of how to get above PDT by borrowing but not using/trading the money. That is brilliant! I am going to move an investment of 25K I have in another account to my trading account and keep it in that investment...then add my funds for trading on top so I'll be above the PDT rule. Currently I trade in a cash account and I don't mind the wait for settlement as I am new and taking small positions. Think I better paper trade to get used to trading with margin too. Want to keep advancing.

I've been a full time trader for over 10 years, this industry has changed so much in this time.
