That Eagle honor statue represents what DTC is really about, and it's about community, education and friendship. I watch the show because these WW2 artifacts speak not only about the German's but to the brave young American's that went overseas to fight and ensure all of our freedoms with their willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice. What a wonderful show and what a wonderful host. Thank you, Mr. Wittmann for your dedication to the hobby, but more so, for your love and respect to all.

Lol actually those German artifacts represent the bravery of young Americans who went overseas to loot and steal all German property they could get their hands on. And afterwards they themselves or now their relatives sell it for a lot of money, the Schnützenschnur in this episode just being a representative reminder of that. Big respect to Tom for returning it to their rightful owners 👏👏👏

My collecting partner died when I was 12 years old. My Dad.... Obb is so very fortunate and so is his father fortunate that they got to share in this most interesting of hobbies...together...for one lifetime...love you guys. 100 shows is so cool. I have watched a lot of these episodes but I missed the one with the shooting chain story. That was an outstanding tale and I felt proud of the Wittman's as they represented America in such a positive, generous light. I will continue watching the rest of the video in a little while but right now I am just having a sip as I contemplate the beauty of that chain and what it meant to those fine people.
