They respect each other as tennis players that is the main thing . They are very different personalities and characters and different beliefs in life. It was Novak that said he could never regard Rafa as a friend because he was a rival. As long as they have a professional respect for each other that is fine and good enough.

Nice to see them both have fun in 2014 but something has changed the last 5 years, they respect eachother but its not very sincere when they are both oncourt, its cold. Nadal is a nicer guy but the same as Djokovic, he is very eager and wants the records so bad, but he isnt as explicit as Djokovic is. They have similar personalities in my opinion.

They respect and appreciate each other, Nadal and Federer always struggled to smile or made warm handshake after loosing especially against Djokovic because Nadal/Federer are closer friends, but that doesn't mean they don't like Djokovic. Federer seemed to be annoyed that Djokovic came and started dominating more and more but did accept through the years to respect him more. And we've seen how respectful and close they could be in Laver Cup, what you see in a match doesn't reflect all of their traits and personnality, they're rivals on the court but outside of a court they're different persons.

When you play someone who is better than you it is a matter of how much pain and injury the better player decides to inflict on you. He will take your legs and eventually cripple you. Everyone that has engaged Novak seriously has ended up crippled. All of you think it is normal because you say hay it’s sports and you get injured. Lol No, you are thinking of contact sports and of course you get injured. But then you think hay, my GM got her hip replaced and my uncle had a knee operation. Lol And how old were they..33 lol no 63. You have no idea what Novak does and he Knows what he is doing. He toys with players below him….everyone Roger will never walk properly Rafa may never walk again Murray has 3 new hips and counting Nishokury has major knee reconstruction. Alcaraz went toe to toe for two hours and could not walk for 2 weeks. Did he learn his lesson? This is a small list of those that chose to seriously compete against a vastly superior player. They were better off to have just walked off the court while they could still walk. A friend I used to play with who is slightly better than me showed me a shot he calls the Crippler. And I was lucky I could still move after and am always now aware when I see it coming. I hope this explains why so much crowd bias umpire bias lines bias political bias is needed for anyone to even compete with Novak. He could cripple you in 1 rally and anyone else in a set witness Alcaraz. I predicted the night before the Alcaraz match that he would be crippled. It was highly censored as is everything I write.
