SH/E are the ones who deserve it the most, because clearly they wrote and performed that song out of pure inspiration and appreciation for their culture, country of origin and its people. That’s what art is. It’s not about “wanting to win”, or moving all the right stones to win at any cost in a competition. Art is about openness to experience, sincerity, truthfulness, freedom. There’s no one like them. Their performance in Tirana last spring was out of this world, you rarely get to see such magic even in world stages. Their effect is surreal. Whatever happens with FiK, they are a treasure in Albanian contemporary music. Everyone wants to hear more from them.

because they genuinly participated without an aspiration to go eurovision, they said in an interview that they are not so known in Albania, and they wanna make a name theough the prestigious FiK! But here they are, and little did they know they will be so loved!

Festivali i Kenges has been running for 63 years, so for some participants its an honour to participate in FiK alone, which is the case with these guys. I'm sure they would be grateful and happy to go to Eurovision if they win FiK, they're just humble and not expecting to win though.

They really want to go to Eurovision but they are so humble that they believed Elvana with karnaval will win because she is well known in Albania meanwhile these two are Albanians based in Italy. They grow up in Italy. Everyone thought Elvana will win. Maybe the jury will vote for her. Now that they won and they did the winner performance they were so touched especially the guy. He couldn't even finish his lines because he was emotional.
