Anyway, my top 3 so far: 3. 🇦🇱 Anxhela Peristeri - Karma: Festivali i Kënges had a big variety of musical styles, but Albania had to choose yet another clichè and over-the-top female ballad, despite there being at least 10 songs which I found more interesting. However, I believe that a thorough revamp (both song-wise and staging-wise) could turn this into something great. For now, I'm not impressed. 5.5/10 2. 🇮🇱 Eden Alene - Set Me Free: Truth is, I didn't really like any of the 3 candidate songs, the 4 songs from last year were on a much higher level. But La La Love & Ue La La had some character at least. This one is simply generic and forgettable. I feel bad for Eden, she deserved better. 6/10 1. 🇲🇫 Barbara Pravi - Voilà: After two selections with disappointing outcomes, I'm glad that France chose the right song. A classy French ballad is nothing Eurovision hasn't already seen, but it's the minimalistic melody, Barbara's passion and the climax which keep my attention throughout. I don't think it can win Eurovision, however a top 5 placement sounds realistic. 8.5/10 Waiting for 🇱🇹... the Roop hopefully.

All the contestants got tested for covid. Essentially anyone not wearing a mask during the show or interviews has tested negative. So only people that did not would have to wear a mask.
