This is a huge victory for avant-garde music in Serbia. This is an unusual song and performance that requires people think outside the box but if we take look at the current situation - real pop music are dying in Serbia, the avant-garde is still taboo, so many people have prejudices, I was really afraid that he won't have enough support. This is not only Luke's victory but victory for some different future music in my country. Thank you Wiwibloggs for all your support!

Meni je ova izvedba za Evroviziju žanrovski baš dobra. Ja sam kao mlada uvek slušala stranu muziku nisam volela narodnu što ne znači da kada odem u kafanu ne volim dobru turbo folk jer jedino te to podigne, to je naš identitet kao u Americi kantri, od prilike.... Ne treba brkati te pojmove ni porediti, zna se gde šta ide... Ovo inače prolazi na Evroviziji jer ni tamo više nema nešto što baš muzički vredi.... Ovo mi je čak i nekud i najbolje...... That would have been the absolutely glorious trio of beautiful, daring weirdness, and a legendary line-up in its own right. Just one thing... Luka is not "killing" them, he is "releasing" them from the control of the creature (monster) that made them sleep and ignorant/passive. In my opinion Konstrakta and Luke are only similar when it comes to the message. Both songs are extremely artistic when it comes to the lyrics, musical elements and the performance. But I feel like they still differ a lot in the way of presenting. Serbia didn't fail to maintain the benefits of the artistic soul but still send something different from last year. Something unique. They changed Eurovision and set new standards 💪🏻

I love this entry, too, though it is kind of growing off me. I still love it, but not as much as in the beginning. However, I totally agree with Deban and I can totally see this being a dark horse, suddenly in the top3 in the Grand Final. A lot of people will see this for the first time in the Grand Final and this hits you like a truck the first time you see this, but a good truck filled with Serbian music dreams lmao. Whatever, I think this could actually do extremely well.

When you mention Transformers you are not wrong , this song in my opinion is very much inspired by NIN and Linking Park ( specially electronic rock elements). In first second i was like : " wait a minute this sound like Linking Park" as he song progressed i was more like: " wait the guy sounds like Trent Reznor "and the whole song feels like something that NIN would do. It is a complement of course and i am super happy this type of music finally appears in Eurovision.

This song is a critique of the modern society and contemporary world. He makes connection with a video games where young people (and everyone else) are, artistically speaking, controlled by someone else and are just observers of all the horror happening around the Globe. He uses himself as a metaphor - (he only wants to sleep), as it is the easiest thing to do - to oversleep all the tragedies and to wake up in a better world. If you carefully look the performance - you will see that they are dancing as zombies as they are under anesthesia not reacting on this "world on fire" as he notices. However, the message of the song is quite opposite - we should all wake up, we should react, we should have more conscience and sapience that he calls on, especially to decision makers. At the end of the song he "releases" those "controlled" masses in order to become more active, more energetic and they together react - walk, make changes together. The "hello" part was written inspired by the Sims game, where the characters wave the player when they want something, instead of taking action, so he uses a parallel with people today.
