I can think of four ways the evolved wizard can work: 1) the wizard fires both a fireball and an inferno beam at the same time: the fireball does fixed but splash damage, while the beam starts weak but ramps up with time 2) the wizard charges fire while not attacking, and then the first fireball is extra powerful, while subsequent ones are like normal 3) the wizard's fireballs leave lingering fire on the ground, similar to the evolved firecracker, or cause the enemies to start burning for a few seconds (bonus points if they give him a deployment effect like the electro wizard) 4) the wizards fireballs become progressively stronger the longer it's attacking a target
