Recently dropped 35k crowns trying to get the armadillo mount with no luck and I don’t usually buy packs but i gifted a friend and he got it on the first pack so I thought I would have the same luck :(

Putting money to get cosmetics is worth however much it means to you. Don't let others tell you how to spend your money. I've been buying some of that marleybone motorist packs for the stitch and mount. No luck on mount.

I’ve gotten the rock mount in 1 pack, the astromancer’s rocket in 1 pack, the road warriors chopper in 1 pack, and I think another mount but I’m blanking on it(I have 6 pages of mounts so I forget which I have sometimes). When I say 1 pack I mean like the very first pack I opened of that kind.

ITA about having an option to craft a perm mount from temporary mounts. I would actually be more willing to spend on packs if that was an option.

I think it could be a great feature if Kingsisle would consider it. They make money and people get the perm mounts they want after enough packs. Win win.

That idea you have of switching non perm mounts for a perm is a great idea. Exactly like the gauntlets, perhaps 5-7 7 day mounts and 14-17 1 day mounts and you could make a perm.

I have like a million 1 and 7 day mounts from this pack but not a permanent :( and I'm not on the sort of budget where I can try again for one. One day though. One day I'll have that permanent panda.

Maybe if you get enough 1 or 7 day mounts you can go to a crafter and craft a permanent with those 1 and 7 days

Perm mounts have always been the hardest items to get from packs in my experience. I was trying to get the Stompy Bronto mount for my fire wizard and it took >50 packs to get 1 perm mount. The Trompy Bronto...

Hey Zaepha I don’t know if you know but in an update a while ago they made it so packs will fill past your bank limit so you don’t need to sell until your done.

I dont remember how many crowns I spent bet I spent enough to get every piece of armor for spirit schools and elemental schools. Including wands the pet and the mount per. Gear for 130 but I feel like I didn't spend that much.

Personally I only buy packs when they're on sale since I think they're kinda overpriced. I also think it probably would have been best for you to just wait a couple of months for the pack to go on sale

Unfortunately Kingsisle essentially never has pack sales anymore. Pack A Palooza sales used to be a thing but not anymore. Also, in the nicest way possible, if it’s their money, people are allowed to spend it whenever or however they choose :)

Yep I'm not trying to micro your money, just trying to get you more pandas. And even though they don't do pack a plooza I swear that last year they did some weird thing where about half the packs were on sale one week and the other half the next week

Totally, I don’t personally remember that exact type of sale you’re remembering, but I know everyone would be far happier spending a bit of extra money on this game if it had more consistent sales for packs (and other stuff). Fingers crossed going into the future that they do pack sales more consistently.

I definitely agree with you there. IIRC (and I'm too lazy to do research to prove it) they did one week where they put all the lore packs on sale and then the next they put all the hoard packs except ghulture on sale. Not sure if they do it again this summer but I sure hope so. I also think they need to take out a lot of the uselss stuff from packs and put in stuff that may not be great but at the very least is useful because it just sucks when you get a pack thats only housing items, pet snacks, and reagents.
