Sean Burnham Trust me, I know. I've had plenty of pets fail at epic and mega. Ive just been unlucky with this pet, and I've spent a lot of time trying to get the talents i want. I had one myth pet fail at mega and get storm giver.

My kookaburra got pip at epic. It had proof, fairy and balance giver. All it needed was dealer or pain giver lol. Also my rain core got ice giver at ancient, had proof and storm dealer.

Train a pet up to adult, if it gets the talents you like, hatch again... and again... and again... I only take my pets up past Adult if I'm sure it'll get the talents I want.

Epicthedog in terms of your wanted 5 talents, if you’re doing a fresh project and your pet is at adult and has 1 talent of your final product you hatch. Now the unwanted talent is still in the pool and you want it to not manifest in your next adult pet. Let’s say this second adult pet gets 2 of the 5 final talents. I would go for another adult because you want to create a sort of “history” in this pet. The parents and grandparents would be the same 5 final talents and every baby you make will have a higher chance of manifesting previously manifested talents from previous generations. Now this doesn’t eliminate you getting unwanted talents but it reduces the chance of it occurring. Therefore people go past adult once they feel confident and go step at a time, new egg to ancient, hath new egg to epic and new egg to mega. You’ll have a packup to rehatch no matter where you’re at. Now some people may rush from adult, ancient, epic, straight to mega if they feel confident enough on what you’ve done in the past such as if you already had a good base pet.

Hatch with your Ice pet, bring that pet tom adult and repeat. Try to hatch with the same pet each time, so that you know what you're getting.

Go onto the forum and request hatches until your pet pool looks EXACTLY like the other person's pet. Or do it with a friend, doesn't matter. It might take a long time, but if their pool is good then it ensures minimum chances of fails. If you don't wanna do that then hatch until you feel confident that most of the fail talents are off. Don't even bother taking it past adult if you haven't hatched at least 3 times

I did the calculations to see how close I was to 10% giver. I was at 9.48. My pet is .02 off. That is my luck

I hatched once with a pet from the hatchmaking kiosk, i’ve gotten it to epic so far and gotten all the talents i wanted. Double crit double damage, hoping for another crit or damage talent.

Make a backup pet (rehatch to make a backup in case this one fails) but if your really confident then go for it.

I use same pet that has ice critical hit talent and breed pet with ice dealer and got ice dealer instead of crit, basically it is pure RNG for what your pet gets from either parent.

Also some pets are better at some things then others. For example a certain pet can easily get a lot of damage and some other pet can easily get spell proof(defense). So try to keep that in mind while you go crazy on which cool pet you want. Which is a lot of fun because now you don't need to pay people crowns for them to hatch with you since its not beneficial to actually let people hatch with your pets.

Since 11% Dealer doesn't do anything (The extra 1% is not "counted"), the Tenacious Opal that gives 50 strength would also work.

It reality, it is less than 11.4%, so the damage value is rounded *down* to 10%, despite showing it as 11%. You can only get a true 11% Dealer if you have more Selfish talents on your pet. You can also get the Tenacious Opals from the Rank 4 Stat Jewel recipe.

Yes I know they can be crafted that's what master of chemistry said originally, I was telling him you can get them very easily without titanium if you get a pet to mega. Pets can get 11 dealer with max stats and a selfish talent socketed. 11.4 rounds down to 11 not 10 also.

Sarah Gollihue KI knows its a bug. Just click finish instead of play again after the game and it will not happen.

Thanks for the tips on making a good pet, I just recently came back after awhile and didn't have anything, So I have to relearn stuff. Also at the Kiosk are you able to get the pet that you hatch with? Because I've hatched at the Kiosk for about 3 times and each time I got my own pet back, not from someone else's pet.

Squishy Ugimi Personally I don’t use Mega Snacks until my pet is at adult and I feel confident on its talents. It’s pretty easy to level them up on the early levels, plus you don’t have to consume a ton of Mega Snacks 😁.

late, but for anyone else asking the same question, the skills each give buffs to different talents. if you hover over the name, it will tell you what it helps. so most people train for damage and resistance

Ty again for trying to help a failed system, to get a freaking pet's talents shouldn't be so difficult they should fix the system I had situations where the same pet would get the same stupid talent no only at adult but sometimes at ancient etc... and you can just say goodbye snacks.... there is no perfect way to hatch you just close your eyes and hope for the best ...something that really sucks in this game a simple solution it should be the ability to highlight the talent or an ability to erase the garbage talents they can even do that with an crown option instead but whatever and pretty sure I am preaching the crowd.

You can’t, I hatched 200+ times for my myth pet and it still failed at mega with maycast conviction every time. This game is purely RNG which is why I quit.

At this level it's not very important for crit on a pet, so go for damages and resists, maycast fairy is really the only maycast you want right now.
