Don’t think ban evasion will be a issue because I believe you need to complete the world on a wizard already to be able to buy the elixir on another wizard. So people who make new accounts shouldn’t be able to buy them, just helps people who already have a max and want to pay to max another without questing it. Also their so many worlds in this game so if you buy all the worlds it will be super expensive so don’t think it’s cheap at all.

While I agree with that, if someone has an alt account where they have one max, with world elixirs, they can eventually just make a bunch of characters to continue what they were doing on any sort of main account

I play this game like it's a good book/tv show/movie, when I miss the story I come back to the game and play through it. I pay to play through these worlds because I enjoy the game, why the hell would I pay more to not play through these worlds???? You say there's no value in replaying the game, but what about just having fun?

If people are going to try to make new accounts to snipe or buy these world elixirs, it should be conditional to where you can only purchase that world elixir if you have already completed the world (game if you may) on a different character on the same account. Exactly like the level 50 elixir whereas you cannot purchase without having a level 50 or higher wizard. KI should definitely consider this to prevent spammers and trolls.

This is exactly how it already works. You cannot use a world elixir if you don't already have a character that quested through that world on the account. You simply cannot make a new account and boost a brand new character to level 50 or through Celestia.

You enter Celestia at level 50 when crit is introduced so enemies have more health while the players may not have crit gear. You enter Zafaria hopefully after waterworks with good gear. That makes a difference.

@@djkang9222 Sure, but I still wouldn't consider Zafaria to be "much shorter." There are also a lot of talking quests in Zafaria and running back and forth which takes forever. Zafaria and Celestia MIGHT take the same amount of time roughly.

I love this change, if the price is consistent then selling Wizard101 accounts will be much less popular since for about $90 worth of crowns you could take a character from 0 to max (assuming they eventually add all world elixirs). It’s actually well priced for how long the average person takes to finish these worlds

World elixirs have value since Wiz has ZERO replayability options. Even compared to the old days, where leveling up a different school would at least provide a slightly different experience, is now obsolete since you can obtain almost every spell and cast via school pips.

I think you should have to finish the entire game and your next character, you get world elixirs. Honestly i think it would be even better just to have level 50, 100, and 150 elixirs. Again only if you have you completed the entire game with one character. That would fix your sniper issue and help people like me that only want pvp and care nothing for story.

4500 crowns should be for any basic skip world, but some worlds should be pt1 and pt2 like krysalis. Empyrea is a two part also. But remember your missing jewels, and any speciality item so you still need to farm for them. I usually find the first half of the long world, is where you do tons of mini quests, minion fights, once you get to the second half seems to go faster, because it's lots of boss fights.

Saying pvpers is irrelevant because not everyone likes to pvp and that's a bias pov to be doing it for. Practically saying "Hey we are screwing over one side of the community because pvpers want this and that"... Then again alot of the poor choices of the game has been made on the pvpers behalf. If they are gonna go based off pvp. It needs to be something that won't ruin pve because every time a pvper complains... Things are changed for pve too and it ruins gameplay for people that actually enjoy the game as a whole. I hope you don't got alot of playtime with that pov because if you got time to play a game 5 hrs a day in pvp... you can clearly lvl a new character which would make matters worse because that's pure laziness.

For example I haven't played wiz in years so if I wanted to start again I don't want to have to go through each world that I already did as a kid. As a grown man with a job Id use the world skips to get to the new worlds that I haven't tried yet. I dont mind the world elixirs being cheap. Ive quested 6 times, and I'm currently working on my 7th at lvl 144. Don't think I would personally buy them other than for Azteca/Khrysalis. Also those people who snipe you use a 3rd party app that will literally teleport you to quests and also cast spells.

Personally having to spend $10 i assuming will be standard is kinda pricey. I don't see the price dropping because skipping worlds is a convience which means getting banned start to add up even at 5 bucks. Plus you have get the gear for that one character which takes time or money. That gets old after while if you actually like the game outside being a weirdo

well, i dont think world elixirs above celestia will be cheaper seeing that those worlds spike more challenge. More challenge = more expensive world elixirs and it will just vary on quests in certain worlds and it would not be a good idea to have a world elixir for each world that would take the game from grinding to a literal p2w but hopefully it doesn't go in that direction i've been playing from the drop of wiz lol and im like 1 of 5 of the only players from The Bahamas that still plays casually.

I feel like "hot take" is right for a lot of these. I'll be speaking as a guy who, despite having been playing for around 12 years or so, has just recently hit max level and completed the current story on my first wizard (I am stubbornly determined to solo every bit of the game on my Myth). World Elixirs have been something I've been interesting in for a long time for a couple of reasons, some good some bad. Do I think they're a good idea to implement? Absolutely, undoubtedly. But I will say, I think 15k is a bizarre amount of crowns to spend while 5k feels so much more comfortable to me. Now I have a job and I'm no stranger to buying crowns, but am I going to drop a hundred dollars to skip one arc of the game? Absolutely not, there are far better ways to spend that money. Would I pay a hundred dollars to skip the entire game? Eh... Maybe? Probably not. BUT would I spend $10 to skip a world I am really not a fan of (Azteca, for example)? More than likely, depending on how I feel. People who are less inclined to want to replay might buy those elixirs for short worlds, but I think most people will just say "that's fine" and continue without buying. You bring up there's practically no incentive to playing through arc 2 if you can just pay to go through it, and while on some level I agree, I would argue that NOT paying to go through it is a perfectly valid incentive. The other wizards that I'm currently working on leveling have been flying right through arc 2 so far. There have been some hiccups, sure, but overall I can crack out a world in about a week if it's not super long or painful (cough Azteca). I would much rather just blitz right through Zafaria for (ignoring membership costs) free, instead of throwing out ten bucks to dash through it. I'm not sure if these World Elixirs should really feel like a spit in the face to anyone, at least to me I just sort of see them as another way to get through things. Much like how people can buy spellement packs rather than go through the free method of grinding out key bosses, or buying world packs instead of farming those final bosses. As for the whole ban evading thing I... Kind of agree? Sort of. I have never been banned myself, since I'm a good boy who can do no wrong ever, but I don't think it's too crazy to assume that they ban your entire account and not just your wizard. Even if they make an alternate account to ban evade, they still have to grind THAT account before they can use the elixirs right? So in that sense no one who ban evades can realistically use that as a cheat code. Because all they would be doing is speedrunning a character on an alt account that already has a max wizard. Although I would love arc 2 spellements soon, imagine a world where something like my Medusa could be made more valuable in PvE... Ah if only... Overall it just feels like a lot of the issues are sort of inconsequential in practicality. That's my thoughts on it anyways, let me know if anything I said was confusing and I'll be happy to clarify! I can get a little ramble-y sometimes, so I don't mind correcting myself!

Well, there needs to be more perspective when thinking about world elixirs. Someone who wants to have 7-8 characters into an account and don’t want to have the boring inconvenience to do all over again, and have the money to spend, those are the best things ever added in the game. We don’t want the prices to be so high like “gold for crowns” that becomes a joke. I think the new price is excellent and I already bought it for 3 characters. If someone gets banned, they lost not only the questing progress, but all items, hard to make pets, mega snacks, unlocked adventure,combat talents, crown areas of any bought, event items, and the list goes on…. Besides they have to think well about harassing people, because everyone they do, at least 100$ they will spend or more to get a max back (IF THEY ALREADY HAVE A MAX In THAT ACCOUNT), how many times do you think they can keep this going? I don’t think there is a problem with the price of current world elixirs at all. They should NOT make lunari cost crowns! Get that p2w shit outta Beastmoon (the last few remaining good & fair side activities left in wiz imo). I don’t wanna see everyone with the best forms knowing they just bought the lunari to tier it up. Tiering up forms and getting many forms unlocked is a flex and a testament of the time, grind, & dedication of the player not to mention skill needed to earn enough lunari to level up forms permanently for Hunt & Mayhem. What KI should do is make Hunt always grant 15 lunari as a loss & always 30 lunari as a drop for wins. This standardizes the drops instead of making losses a range of 10-15 and wins a even bigger BS range of 20-30 lunari. Someone who I fought hard to beat in BM should not give me 20 lunari for winning while the losing team gets 15 lunari yet it happens all the time depending on pointless rng. Therefore, there are better ways to making BM fair & more accessible without introducing more p2w crap into it. Scroll of Fortunes are already p2w since they unlock new forms not available for free until months/years later through crafting during mayhem or winning in hunt.

I was expecting them to cost 10k. Though I wish they'd fix the issue with the gameplay, rather than a quick "fix" like this. But I know that would be asking too much for KI. They're just making it possible to buy everything directly now instead of having to earn anything anymore. I get that most people don't have the time to farm the game like others do, and I'm one of those people who can't farm, but there needs to be some kind of balance at least. I think the thing that makes this so much worse is that they're actively making farming harder, forcing some would-be farmers to just pay instead. In all honesty, I haven't been playing wiz for many months now at least. I just haven't found the game to be fun for me at all currently, even with some of the positive changes. I won't say that I've quit, especially seeing as I still stay relatively up-to-date with wiz news, but I'm still waiting for something that would actually make me want to return to the game again.

The price of world skip elixirs is fine. Not everything needs to be so damn expensive in this already freaking pay to play and pay to win based in this ancient game. Simple solution is to add a requirement where a character needs to have already completed said world on that account to skip the world. That way people can’t easily ban evade and would still have to quest like a normal person at least once on the alt account to snipe people not to mention that it’s costly to do that continuously. I just hope you can never buy your way to max and that world elixirs will always only go up to a penultimate arc for wiz at the time the world elixirs are introduced at. Therefore, I hope we don’t see any world elixirs that let people skip Karamelle until we’re well on our way into arc 5 if wiz makes it that long.
