Balance goes well with storm imo. But I have seen one content creator go crazy with life heals on a balance. Both life and storm will give you a balance prism which is something balance needs for PVE if they don't have AOE hydra or Rainbow serpent. And storm olso gives a storm blade which can go well with the hydra. Going for storm also makes balance OP in PVP by giving balance the ability to counter overtimes.
