@Neverlandia That is NOT a viable solution. They very rarely drop from Skeleton Key bosses (Blaze has a Mimic Spellement video you should see), and I cannot begin to fathom how many keys one would need to fully unlock a Tier 5 Spellement, like Imp. You would have to put in countless hours grinding. Talk about the game being "kid friendly"!

@Neverlandia Spellements are pay to win and that's that. There isn't a single argument that would make anyone sane enough to understand otherwise. It's fine just grind keys for a week and then another week for just the first upgrade if you are lucky. That sounds great and enjoyable. Or you can buy packs since you are that fond of wasting money.

@Neverlandia it starts slowly. First, it's just a silly little damage buff. Then packs (that are rng) come into play and try to drain your wallet dry. Afterwards, minor nerfs to other spells may be implemented, further increasing the value of the spellments and this cycle ends when players rise up against it or the game dies. It clearly shows that you don't play other games or you are new to gaming so you don't know any other way. Just try to think straight for a bit and compare Wizard to other successful MMOs . You will spot huge differences and I don't mean gameplay ones.

@Neverlandia The literal definition of pay to win is that when you pay for something with real money, you gain an advantage. PvP is 100% PTW, and these Spellemental Packs just made it even worse. A Player with a fully upgraded Spellemental Spell will always be better than someone who doesn't, and _that_ is pay to win. Sure, the differences may be minor, but they are still there- which means that it is still pay to win.

It's crazy how I've watched you for 6 years now and you still make great content. I remember I watched you because my parents didn't let me spend money on the game so everytime I would get to the point of having only quests for areas you had to pay to enter, I would create a new character. But now I can spend money so I've been enjoying playing through the game for once. Anyways keep up the great content.

Assuming you got 1 Spellement per Pack, it would cost you over $700 (Without a Crown sale) to fully upgrade a Tier 5 Spellement like Imp. This game is 100% Pay-To-Win!

It’s only pay to win in PvP (which let be honest is like 1% of the game), an upgraded imp won’t be any help at all in PvE or any other game mode so technically the game is 1% pay to win and 99% pay to have a useless spell. But it does show us that KI could potentially make this game 100% pay to “win” if they added storm bug spellements or some other high tier spell. (Also they could make these spellements dropable in the future, time will tell)

Neverlandia Why are you so defensive of KI’s P2W practices? Upgraded Scorpion is basically a Loremaster for half the pip cost. Upgraded Leprechaun enchanted with Radical can break a shield and heal over 1k easily. See Sauce’s Life PvP videos. There’s even more spells that, when upgraded with spellements, give an unfair advantage to paying players. Look up “pay to win definition” on Google. Practically the entire first page shares the same definition.

I haven’t played in a while, but the spellement system seems so bad it makes me wanna vomit. A pack with Spellement in the title should be GUARANTEED to give some spellements. And doesn’t it take dozens of spellements to upgrade a card once? So the amount Blaze built up is like next to nothing really

In total, to upgrade a Tier 5 Spellement (Like Imp), it would cost you 720 Spellements or 705 if you already have the spell trained. 100% is NOT Player-Friendly!

a good reminder for those who's complaint is that it's useless for max is that spellements are going to be released eventually for higher tier spells. It just takes time. Not only that, but spellements are transferable between characters so you don't have to use them on your max. the rank 2 spellements could be very useful at low level.

I was fortunately lucky years ago, I never really spent a bunch on crowns, probably had a $10 worth of crowns, but got 2 of the mounts from this. Which is strange since I only got one piece of gear from it. I might open it again soon so I can have the cool gear for my other wizards though. These are nice stitching gear! :)

I like the idea of spells being upgraded, so lower rank spells would be awesome to upgrade for certain situations, but in general, it would be best to allow spellements to drop easier for upgrading lower ranked spells to be worth it. I wonder if it has anything to do with the balancing changes they are making to PvP?

If u use the pet and wand for the set bonus u can get 3 extra resist, if u can have the pet get spell proof and defy you’ll be a nutty tank

the ghoul doesn't make any sense. the Math works out that the bottom row will heal you for more either way. but then the top row is just completely useless. you're not healing for more, nor are you doing enough damage to make the top row appealing

If you double click an item in your bag, it will lock it, which will prevent you from being able to get rid of the item, that way you don't accidentally sell or trash something you want to keep.
