I would really appreciate them making Krokotopia feel like an actual world instead of a lone pyramid with a few floating islands. It would be awesome to see them expand/refine the actual existing world instead of just adding a teleport to somewhere completely new. Krok is probably the only world in the game that doesn't really feel like a world.

I would love that. Because every new world I always hope it's not too small. Krok did great at not making it feel small, but the oasis area does look small and cramped. Novus is awesome but that felt small as a world.

Well there is Lore to back it up, a history book in Krok reads: “For thousands of years, the Manders lived in harmony, but this changed when an island full of Kroks rose to The Oasis, and they began to settle onto the world.”

@@Rakkchaser99 Thank you I didn’t know that bit of lore! Still though, the only areas we explore are tombs and pyramids - impressive ones. This alludes to them having a vast and expansive society. While the story of Krok revolves around the story of the tombs, it would be nice to maybe have some sort of sand dune skybox visible or some sort of distant cities in the Oasis area just to give the feel that Krokotopia is more than just the little you see in the oasis. They executed the desert landscape much better in Mirage in my opinion.

Theyre most likely combining the two mythologies because in Greek mythology the Greek gods flee to Egypt when confronted by Typhon and actually interact with the Egyptian gods while they are there. I like this idea

History Major here There is a high chance this is a nod to Ptolemaic Egypt, a period of time where Macedonian rule partnered with Egyptian tradition and created a lineage lasting to the Roman Empire. One of the most important parts was the founding of Alexandria which was a Ptolemaic capitol for the hybrid sovereignty. However, what I think they're doing is taking the Serapeum and the god Serapis and changing it from a god of the dead to some new lunar cosmic entity/cult.

Generally when they start teasing this heavily, Test Realm is fairly imminent. I'd be very surprised if we make it to mid-October without TR starting, with a live date of late October-early November (assuming the usual 3 weeks of TR).

Ignoring whether this is actually an expansion to krok or no, we may be seeing actual good moon spells now. It might be a leap but if the area is moon themed, maybe we see more polymorphs? Or maybe their whole “100+ new spells!” Is actually just spellement paths for the polymorphs spells, and then new polymorph spells. Since polymorphs have some of their own unique spells I can see them cheaping out and using that as a selling point like “woah so many new spells! Oh but they’re not like actual spells they’re just spells if you polymorph.”

Dont tell me I guessed it. The moon school has been completely useless for over 10 years now. Its about time something was done with it. I've seen a vid of someone suggest applying every single school to moon enchants. For example instead of only getting death minotaur from the moon enchant, you can get the life or storm version or whichever you school you are. It would still be using the same spells for years now. But at this point id take anything for a moon change, would fill some slots for the 100+ spells and some totally knew ones and npc only spells. And also really hope npcs can use these new spells. Can make the endless battles more engaging, because lets be honest for moment. 80% of the game is battling these generally easy opponents with no real thought.

It’s pretty likely that this will be an expansion for Krok because just like the drains in wizard city you won’t gain any lvls and the next world after wizard city is krok

Krokotopia is my least favorite world. I love the aethetics of it but it just feels so boring compared to other worlds. With the whole moon theming of the area I hope it means we'll be getting some good moon spells for once. Maybe we'll even get good polymorphs(doubt it but you never know). Better yet maybe we could get some kind of special event or challenge focused on polymorphs or just moon spells in general. Even a boss that cheats if you aren't polymorphed would be cool. I just really like the idea of polymorphs and wish there were a reason to spend training points on them lol.

@@MythlyInari That's a such a great idea and the most brain dead obvious route to take with polymorphs but I doubt KI would go for it if they haven't already sadly. I could see us maybe getting boss polymorphs(and maybe tying it into monstrology?) if they want to keep it more like how they already are. I think giving us their cheats too could be a little op but it would be fun. At the very least giving us the stun immunity that every boss has would be cool.

@@MythlyInariI feel like they could also do something similar that they did with monstrology. Beat an enemy and collect something to turn it into a polymorph card? Idk I’ve always wanted to use polymorphs but I realized very quickly that it’s just inefficient and almost impossible if you try to do it with certain bosses/dungeons.

@@bebuu9794 I can see what you mean. For few bosses though that are already farmed a lot or show upoften on the team up kiosk it could be worth it. Especially if they make the Animus requirement low. I could see maybe a bunch of new crafting recipes for polymorphs instead being good and making it worth it(assuming they make the polymorphs actually good lol).

I think what they should do is like for example fire has meteor strike, I feel like they should make another card that does the exact same thing in terms of pips and damage just so you aren’t casting the same card over and over again
