Kingsisle has been bought out by a company called MGI, they invest in games they think have potential for future growth! One thing Kingsisle said with this change is Wizard101 will officially become free to play! not sure when this change will take effect though.

but most of those spells are already hit all so what's different?

Each AoE hits every player with an individual animation like Ra, now they will just hit all, the spells will take less time😂

I’m new to wiz, what’s a test realm, is it just an update to the game? Love your vid btw first one I watch on the test realm and very informative

Hey there! Test Realm is a place Wizard101 releases a larger update for players that have a membership or pay with Crowns can jump on and Test the major update before it goes into Live Realm! So if there are any minor bugs or fixes, they will happen in Test! Also most time the wizard community can voice their opinions to get things fixed or changed before Live! It’s a great!!👍🏼

I would say so! Also if the ki ethyl membership is an issue, soon Wizard101 will be free to play, they were bought out by a company called MGI, they invest in other company’s that they think have real potential! And they mentioned how Wizard101 and Pirate101 will be free to play! :3

To be a middleman here with info leah reuben (one of the top people at kingsisle) she herself said they have no plans whatsoever to make the game f2p entirely but hopefully this means they can make more areas free to play like all of wizard city minus the dungeons and all of krok at the very least its been almost 13 years since the game was put in beta then released
