Isnt it ironic that Malistaire thought he and Sylvia could overcome everything... but Sylvia died because of a cold? And at the end of Dragonspyre it's kinda reversed who's trying to save who.

So your wizard is suppose to prevent Sylvia from taking over the spiral in the alt timeline, even though Malistaire already does something similar (or even worse) in the regular timeline? An evil empire or an awakened dragon titan that could destroy the spiral? ...I'd stick with the empire.

If Sylvia managed to become Grand General in such short period of time I guess they would have completed their plan of conquering the spiral way before we the wizard would have a chance to get into ravenwood (it probably would be destroyed idk).

Call me a weirdo, but the fact that The Maestro is a younger Dobberman dogman, and The Professor is an older Dobberman dogman, both can time travel, and they both seem to be tied together all the time undoing each others work... I think The Maestro is a younger/alternate version of The Professor. And he needs to undo his past, and he needs to assure his path. Both for both. That or a direct sibling. :D
