I like these but I will miss the old ones so much, this game was my childhood and the songs were the ones I remember the best. It would be good if they put an option to keep the old songs.

jazpix I'm listening to this while I write an essay. I haven't played Wizard101 in probably 2 years. I'm disappointed that they've changed it but you're correct. The immersion will bring in new players and keep the game alive. Can't rely just on nostalgia

Dang. I remember going to the computer on a Sunday maybe and seeing “New Wizard City!” and I literally almost cried. I know it sounds over the top, but for real that was one of my best moments of all the years I’ve played this game. And seeing how the revamp was so so long ago, it’s baffling.

This may just be nostalgia taking but I hate almost all of the new tracks. They are over the top and just add more music rather than refining what was already there. But I looooove the new “wizard city theme 1” it’s a subtle refining that respects the original but adds more magic and whimsy which is exactly what I wanted from the other tracks.

Yeahhh... and I mean, a lot of people tend to shit on remastered OSTs no matter how good they are, because they're so used to certain nuances that aren't present in the new versions. But I honestly think this new soundtrack just isn't good enough. This remaster is more transformative than most others I've heard, and it does have it's gems, but I think it just does not stack up to the original soundtrack. Like, it's not even close.
