I appreciate that you're still doing Loot Crate unboxings, since pretty much no one else is at this point (for obvious reasons). I still get the box too. There's usually one neat thing in it that I would be disappointed if I missed. Not with this box though. "Hogwarts Alumni" is a fancy name for a house themed box, and those tend to be same old same old. I definitely don't need another house hat. My favorite item is the blanket, which I do think is a little different. It's not a super thick/warm blanket, but I like that about it, because most of my blankets are.

Omg I feel the same! Usually it’s always one item where I’m like omg I’m glad I still have this box but this one was unoriginal basic house items…. And it’s incredibly late which isn’t new for loot crate. One day I’m just gonna have to stop lolol but I’ve got like what? 3 more boxes they have yet to send? Sigh. I’m usually patient but they could be more transparent about stuff. We’ll see what else comes this month like they said they will be shipping out some this month according to that shipping update on their website but who knows.

@@DemiSiriusly I'll believe it when I see it! Somehow smaller subscription box companies have managed to ship fairly timely even with covid/the state of the world. And they've managed to be transparent. I don't care if boxes are late as long as they let us know what's happening. And as long as it's not completely unreasonable. I think this was supposed to be the September 2021 box.

@@nicoley132 yessss exactly how I feel! I can be patient but they don’t really let anyone know what’s going on. And they really can’t blame covid bc they’ve been late eat before covid even started so it’s just more excuses in my opinion… but we shall see how long it’ll take to get the rest of the boxes…

Personally I have the mug warmer and its not the best. Does not get hot enough and the location of where the USB cord comes out of the rubber mat is so stupid. It comes out from the bottom of the hogwarts crest so if you are sitting at your deck and wish to use it, you will either have to use it up-side down or lopsided because of the cord.

I have four loot crates that are late, when I message them theykeep saying that, "it'll ship this month" But maybe I might get one soon

SAME! I recently emailed them after I was charged again and I’m like okay wait this is backing up too much… and they just told me bc of what’s happening in the world it’s gonna be delayed and blah blah blah

same, I have messaged them 5-6 times and everytime they sed that they will ship in a month. Finally this month I had enough and told them that I didn't want the boxes and I want my money back. Surprise, Suprise 4 days after I send the email I received a message with a tracking number that one of my boxes has been send. I don't know if I have spooked them or they were preparing to finally send the September box, however now I am wondering how much time I'll need to wait until my last box ordered ever will be send...another 1 month, 2 or even 6. Who knows with them. Furtermore with they're products for me its more time miss than hit. Why sell new boxes every two months when they have trouble to fill past orders. Isn't it more fair for the fans of the boxes that they stopped selling every box theme that they have until they are cought up with past order. Me personally, would appreciate this if they do this. Not that it matters as this hopefully upcomming box as stated before will be my last from them. I have found a new box, and while more expensive, they at least ship on time and for now everything in my 2 first boxes I have liked. Furtermore this company the Wizarding Trunk, lets you pose your subscription for months at a time if you don't like the theme on the box. They post it on their website and you can choose what you like, even you can buy individual items from past boxes if you like

@@charraandaik4938 I canceled my wizarding crate about a year ago because it was mostly a miss. But I recently started the anime fury and I got the junji ito special edition. The Fury crate was quarterly so I thought what could go wrong I canceled that after the third one because I was about to be charged for the fourth with not even a tracking number, but I finished paying for the special edition ones before I realized. But yeah, it would make sense if they halted the future subscriptions until they got the past orders situated

i receaved the box finally, and the blanket was my favorite items. However neither of these things will take 6 months to make or send to us the looters. Everything but the blanket was meh for me. lets start with the hat, I wear hats in winter and I like beanies as they cover my ears and head very well( I live in Canada), however fortunetly winter has departed so no more hats until the following year, the pin..its ok, yest its the quidditch pitch however it is lost in all that muddy green, Quidditch was always a symbol of fun in Hogwarts and this pin isn't. Then the mug warmer that needs to be charged with an USB, is it only me who sees the danger..Who tought about this, the idea is good I admit, however it is not that good as the cable isn't that long. Imagine putting it to heat in the UsB port of the computer/laptop then accidently brushing your hand on the tea cup and spilling it all over the keyboard, speaking from personal experience it wasn't fun, I was working on a school project with some friends and one of them spilled MY cup of Tea on MY laptop. Only the fast reflexes of my dad saved the machine of frying. And the tea infuser. Very little tea cups will hold that monster as it is too big and the water displacement will be huge.The only tea cups that will be able to handle it are the 12-16 onzes coffee cups. I have four of them and only one is in continued use, and I know well the sizes. Wille most of them are good items the only practical for me is the blanket.

Pretty underwhelming box overall. Such a bummer.
