Also just whilst I’m here I have an odd question. At any point in the days weeks months etc of you checking in via the app. Did it ever say your check in was the day after your flight? For some reason my check in times for both flights are showing as 24 hours after the flights have left. So I’m also concerned regarding that 😂

I checked some direct flights. For luggage, it comes in at almost £500. Not worth it especially if having to factor in jn the cost to of trains/taxis to Luton or Gatwick, whereas Heathrow is easier. Also if a Muslim, no prayer facilities etc so better to pay £100 more fly with Saudia.
@TheTravelTipsGuy13 күн бұрын
Yes if you add in luggage and food and even travel to the airport, it doesn’t make sense especially if you’re travelling on your own. For a large family, it can make a significant saving though. And any money saved on flights can be put towards better hotels in Makkah and medina. It’s about striking the right balance. It’s not for everyone but may make sense for some.

@TheTravelTipsGuyАй бұрын
I've flown with other airlines that leave Europe and you can always check in online e.g. Emirates etc. Furthermore, you pass through passport control anyway so the boarding pass itself is not strictly required. The only thing I can think of is that Wizzair don't want to risk paying for transport back for any passengers that are not eligible to enter Saudi because they either don't have a visa or don't have a passport that makes them eligible for a visa. Whenever this happens, an airline foots the bill to bring a passenger back.

Nice video, going to subscribe 👍 did WH Smith wear a mask when they robbed you? I know it's an airport but they're scandalous on the high street, never been into an airport branch I refuse haha

I think the meal deals aren’t too bad. I got robbed by boots though. I got some toiletries for extortionate prices. I would’ve been better off buying them in Saudi supermarkets like bin dawood.

My main takeaway from the video was wizzair and low cost carriers are ok for single people, couples and even groups. But not for family, elderly and children.
