What I like about Dawon is that she isn't following the typical style for this kind of shows. She sang in an RnB style last week and now Rock instead of a ballad or a well known k-pop song. I find her refreshing and with her own style.

The thing is, if you're talented, you can take any song amd turn it into YOUR song. I like seeing the girls challenge themselves and not sing a song in their comfort zone. Anyone can "slay" in a song they are familiar and in their range; but it takes more talent to do so with a song that's different from the style they're used to or that people expect.

Why do I see people complaining in the comments? This week was for them to show the songs that helped them through the hard times and make it their own. She did perfectly. She sang the song that helped her when she was going through tough times and she changed it up but still kept that 'Let's do this' sort of attitude to the song. The fact that she sang this a lot of times, probably like the original, it's much more harder. Why? Because you're used to singing it in the original way and it's hard to adjust.

y'all are weird. this show is to showcase their vocals so I think it's good she chose a song outside of her comfort zone and what you all think "would suit her". also, rearranging the song to song it in your own way, with your own style and colours isn't bad. it's impressive and she did a good job

I liked her performance and I can tell easily she has an amazing voice and skill, but it really felt like she was holding back. The performance felt lacking. And I think it has to do with her presence on stage as well as her true confidence in her voice. She needs to let go and not hold back. The song itself is great and very cheerful, but she took away a lot of that because she was holding back and not letting go. If she was going to pick a SNSD song, then maybe Into The New World would have been a better choice as it allows for that freedom and showcases vocal ability even better. I hope she gains more confidence because she has a great tone and color to her voice and is really talented. FIGHTING DAWON!!

PERSONALLY THIS IS ACTUALLY A GREAT RENDITION OF THE SONG (idk if its the preference but i prefer rock than most pop songs) and dawon did it justice in transforming it to a another genre also her high notes and the runs ARE ON POINT. but hopefully, she'll choose a more powerful song in the future.(im not saying she didn't picked the right song but i want her to showcase more of her vocals)

Dawon is a powerful vocal. She is AMAZING. This was good but the range was very low and didn't showcase her voice well. She really didn't choose the right song here... Hope she can choose a better song next time!!

first of all their backgrounds are completely different...hyorin did wwaayy more performances before she was even a trainee...dawon doesn't know her strengths like hyorin does...do you hear the way hyorin and soyou speak there voices are very raspy unlike dawon so yea there voices are very strong but she still has room to grow so we shall see in the future
