I live in Plano Texas. Two minutes across the street from me in Frisco is Stonebriar Mall. It’s a huge location for trafficking. Another place unsafe for kids. Several years ago I picked up a young girl on the side of the road. She was crying, looked strung out and to be honest …..like a broken train wreck. She had escaped from her pimp ( or whatever the term for a seller is ) and just wanted her mom. She didn’t know where she was as before she been taken they had just moved here to Plano and she didn’t know much about the Dallas area. She met some girl friends, so she thought , and went to a party. Next thing she knew she was house being drugged and rapped for several days. I’m a mother. And as I was listening to her I was shaking. I was angry and I was fueled with so much rage at it all. She didn’t even remember her address. She just knew she lived in Plano and she wanted her mom. I called the police and they helped get her mom. She had no phone; no ID, no shoes. I’ll never get that out of my mind. Ever. Also, yes eventually people were arrested and two are serving a sentence.

Everyone of us needs education on how predators work.
