I wasn’t around for the 1st time they came out, but, I believe I started watching WKRP in Cincinnati, when I was 8 or 9 yrs old, but bc of adult content was a wee bit premature, however, Love American Style was on TV after school, and it was a different time. I was so pleased and full of love and laughter this Saturday morning, at 52 yrs old to find this in my youtube feed. 😮😂😂😂❤❤❤

Yup. As far as girls go? It’s always been less = more . As a boy even I never understood why any boy/ man saw in Loni Anderson as Bailey’s much more intellectual and mature plus I’ve got a tendency towards girls with glasses, but to it’s credit they’ve never focused on Jenifer’s obvious endowments on’KRP as opposed with her being a pin - up girl back in those days like literally every single one of them were as soon as the Farrah Fawcett era was introduced ; setting the bar high from then on.❤ Aerosmith’s Night In The Ruts featured hanging on the wall makes it 1979-80! That’s what I went by in trying to figure on the year back in the late 70’s anyways lol Greetings from Boston Massachusetts folks!

Greatest episode ever was when punk rock band was playing a gig during the Sex Pistols era and in trying not to tarnish the image of the station last minute ( too late), but upon being introduced to the band’s staff; one line that still makes me smile is when the English lads enter announcing the name of the act “ We’re Scum” says the lead singer to nobody in particular; it’s an unapologetic example of what we as a country had been brainwashed into believing that punk rock music like the Pistols would be our downfall ( kinda like the presence of a woke mentality is). Hard to believe it now; however that’s what our own government was worried about going so far as to BAN them in almost every single stop along their first and final American tour. They would’ve never addressed that infamous incident when The Who’s general admission seating’s caused 11 people to be trampled back in’79; right there in Cincinnati, Ohio to boot. I loved that they used their own pathos and very little laughs in response to that incident which was real news feed and all networks would’ve interrupted any station’s broadcast when there’d been breaking news like that concert with even the producer’s tagline in their ending credits. Or God forbid the president had any assassination attempt against his own life; let alone 4X’s!? 😳 That is unless your party has lost the election for obvious reasons like your opponent has no votes running by default or your higher ups have told you to withhold any information from the public knowing full well it’d have a reaction from your viewers who’ve already been lied to justifying their own personal opinions on the subject. My point being? How come a fictitious television series has paid their own respects to a real world event like The Who’s disastrous show in which they stomped several people to death in Cincinnati back in 1979; yet not one news outlet’s covering the 4th assassination attempt against their new and former leader of the free world!? 🤬 Even if they’ve been either threatened by the same people who tried spreading misinformation on our next president elect come January; this was not just any win. He’s won the 4 key demographics across the board in electoral college house state and even more importantly, he is the only one individual in the history of the United States to do so. No major network executives would’ve ever been able to keeping their positions when holding back impossible to ignore news stories from the world during this time frame; let alone a mere decade ago when history’s greatest comeback takes place rather than trying to hide it all along from their core audience. Every single person involved with this cover up ought to be immediately fired from their positions in order for those officials who have some sense of integrity can come over to replace them asap. It is inexcusable for anyone whose job it is is to report the current events of the day to honor their word and watching NewsMax as I’m writing into the commentaries what’s happening this very moment, but the fact that not one other news station is reporting upon it due to both sides of this country’s being divided into two halves and these adults are still crying online making fools of themselves and even death threats are not being taken seriously if you’re part of this political party; although on a happier note they’re taking off the most offensive talk show host; plus ending this false narrative from celebrities who couldn’t care less about the average American by the end of the year. Merry Christmas everybody who was brighter than most ❤ Viva Le Trump!

Filmed in front of a live studio audience
@TheFoolintherainn8 күн бұрын
@@marcwright8395yes - sort of. It actually wasn't filmed, yet videotaped. It was cheaper to produce For some reason that brought the cost of using the music down because it was not technically "on film". They had to pay royalties to use the music. I read they taped two versions of the show each week. One with audience and one without. So if something messed up from the live audience show, they could cover it up with footage from the taping without the audience It is a live studio audience, but they help it out from time to time with a laugh track. The inception and production of the show is actually quite interesting... Most modern fans don't understand that shows were censored -there's no problem with cancel culture out of these young bucks, yet they don't get the clever and smart ways these actors producers and writers got around those censors. It took intelligence. Creativity. And that is what made these shows uniquely funny and why modern television will never compare. Roseanne may have been the last show to really push the boundaries before they opened the doors And of course we all know what happened to her by the same gay LGBT community cancel culture to whom she gave careers It's all politics, violence and bathroom jokes these days because there are no boundaries. 🥱
@TheFoolintherainn8 күн бұрын
@@marcwright8395I've been censored!
@fredericklmeade29477 күн бұрын
@@marcwright8395, yes and no. They pretty liberally “sweetened” the audience responses in virtually all of the episodes: making laughs bigger than what they were, putting in laughs or applause that weren’t forthcoming. I can tell because I’ve been hearing some recognizable audience sounds for decades. One audience reaction I heard, a muffled “Uh, oh,” I have frequently heard on other sitcoms for as long as I’ve been watching television. (By the way, many of the laughs on laugh tracks are now going on 70 to 80 years of age, consisting of the reactions of live studio audiences during the production of various radio programs years before television. We tend to think of old recordings as fuzzy and distorted, but the technology they were using in the studios, including the storage media, provided very high fidelity - high enough that those recordings are still being used today.)
