You could take a tax course or a job readiness course or literally any course designed to deal with employment, at least that's what I would do. I go to public school as well so it's not even like any of those things are separate you can literally just learn that shit for free.

Well no, school should NEVER teach things like that. Parents are supposed to teach basic skills like that. Unfortunately, longer work days and lower pay means that parents can no longer teach what they're supposed to.

I love it! I have SO MANY public school teachers in my family. My mother was a librarian...I made her watch this and SHE said "that isn't far from the truth! doing stuff to piss off the kids...making a set of arbitrary rules, never admitting when they're wrong.." So my mom spent 30 YRS teaching and she told me this is an eerily accurate depiction!

here's the actual thing: I taught geometry for a couple of years at the high school level. What everyone fails to note is that math isn't ACTUALLY about solving math problems (very few people go on to specilize in math [mad respect bros]). it's about problem solving. If you can solve a math problem with logick you can solve literally anything else with logic. It's a shame that teachers today don't see it that way.
