When I was younger I dated a woman who more or less had some kind of dissociative personality disorder that made it so she had no sense of humor. I may have heard her slightly chuckle once or twice in the entirety of knowing her and even then it seemed forced. No shows, film or media ever made her laugh even if I was dying from it. Well one evening I put on WKUK as she never heard of them before and like usual she didn't laugh at any of the sketches. Then this one came on.... There wasn't much reaction to the sketch till the end when the little girl runs out and you find out she wasn't a hallucination she broke out hysterically laughing, to the point of where she was wheezing and crying. She must of watched the sketch on repeat like 2000 times after that. I'll never forget that.

@@skid7666 dude. That's exactly what I was thinking. My gf has DID. She has no problem with comedy. She's always joking and laughing, but drama and horror movies have no effect on her. But if it's late and we're going to bed and she happens to catch a glimpse of my silhouette in the doorway she gets frozen with fear. Dissociative disorders are tied to childhood trauma.
