i was taking bong hits and watched the Grape You in the Mouth skit which somehow led me to this tonight. I truly believe it was kismet. This mini-series is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time and reminded me to just be chill and respect everyone's right to smoke the weed stuff that gets you high as long as they're not hurting themselves or someone else. Since the buying and selling of slaves was abolished in 1808, there is no way for there to have been a slave that young from Jamaica on a plantation at the outset of the War Between the States.

He’s black, in the south, 1860’s America. He simply needed to be somewhere in the U.S. and he could be captured and labeled a slave, or smugglers/slavers from America illegally entering the territory to kidnap and illegally bring in a slave from outside the states, as new slaves from Africa had been abolished early in the 1800’s in the U.S. 1808 specifically I think, but it was forced to last that long as it was put in the constitution that congress could not end the import of slaves until that year
