Sup bro! Just lost 12kg in the last half year. Big respect for you continuenly posting and keeping accountability. The tricks for me was momentum and using it to get into a routine. I do intermittent fasting, and honestly, every weekend I would have some kind of party and I would fail. But because of my momentum, and the right routine on every other day, I had faith and I would really focus on not beating myself up over the weekly slipup. I also just avoided the office as much as I could because controlling your environment is impossible, and honestly saying no to temptations is an impossible game to play. So just: don't beat yourself up. Allow yourself 1 slipup per week. The other days treath your weight loss as a fulltime job, full focus on it and the momentum will make it easier, don't track macros (it's too much work and eating less is no rocket science) and lastly avoid environments with temptations because no body has the willpower to continuenly say no to it

More depth: its not rocket science. Avoid stuff like keto, because it's way too complex to do it right. Just eat less it's that simple

If you have a slipup on keto it's way worse because it takes 2 weeks of proper keto to get into the hormonal keto state, which you lose by slipping up

I read this book (Ikigai) on how Japanese people get so old and healthy, and the only rule you should follow is: eat untill you are 80% full. So until the point where you would like to eat more, but you know that it will put you in that full bloated state. This as well will give you cumilitive returns with momentum, since the 80 percent in the first week will be way more than in the 4th week or the 16th. Its a simple trick to shrink your stomach size without beating yourself up. If I only think about the amount of food I could eat in 1 go, back when I started compared to now, it's like the difference in 3 plates of food compared to 3 quarters of a single plate per meal. Also: water and Thea/coffee no fizzy drinks for the love of god don't drink that garbage.

I think it's good you're re-evaluating your weight loss journey. As long as you keep trying there is always room to make gradual improvements (keep an honest and positive perspective, people aren't just hate watching!) In particular I've always wondered what else you were eating and drinking, especially after you touched on it at the end of yesterdays video. Mostly because judging from the food we do get to see I'd wager it's likely you're deficient in some vitamins and minerals, which in the short term you could try supplementing with a daily multivitamin. You may also find that once you satisfy your nutritional needs better your appetite may reduce too along with some of the immune system issues. To echo CanadiaTV, look for smaller permanent incremental changes, rather than a magic bullet.

I have been watching a lot of carnivore focused channels and these people have only eaten meat for years and apparently there is no need for multivitamins. Your right about the incremental changes next week video will be more of a presentation then back to the normal style afterwards. Thanks for your support and comment.

Mate! I love your content and I’m rooting for your weight loss success. I was. 145kg and now 114kg in 16 weeks. My observations over your past few videos are 1. Your portion sizes are too large 2. Cut out the sausages and anything processed. Eat lots of chicken / fish and steak in its true form rather than processed shit. Keep going and don’t give up

Sage advice thank you. I totally agree with the portion size ive always had big portions all my life and never measured it before. Well done losing 31kgs and only in 16 weeks. I will improve my situation just having a relapse, gotta get back on that horse.

I think you have to break it down into smaller steps. I think you are trying to do too many things at the same time. You are trying to massively reduce the weight, eliminate sugar, seed oils and do keto at the same time. What if in the year 2025, you simply reduce sugar by 50%. Year 2026, reduce your portions by 25% on average. Year 2027, start a sport or an exercise that you would enjoy. This is just an example but right now, it seems like an impossible goal. And even if you achieve it, will you maintain it for years to come? Or will you go back to your old habits. I once lost 90 pounds and then gained 200 pounds. I lost the 90 pounds extremely quick with extreme ways and it didn't fix anything. It made it worst!

Yep 100% on the money with that comment Canadia. Slow n steady approach is needed, I agree I'm trying to do many things at once perhaps i just tone it down a bit but still continue to multitask. I still think the goal for 2025 will be to eat on average 2400 calories for the entire year. Which will require me find a routine and track the calories either by a staple home recipe of some sort. Seems like you too have also experienced yoyo dieting the ups and the downs but as we goblins no its all about the law of averages and that we need to recognize this in our daily lives. I want to join a local darts community once a week again to get comfortable amongst strangers again. Thanks Canadia for commenting I really do appreciate your input.
