Wltoys Brushless 144010 124016 124017 Throttle Delay Review and Fixes (Transmitter & Receiver Test)

Note: ESC also has some delay but not enough to worry about on budget RC Cars. Wltoys needs to fix their transmitter problem.

I bought 144010. Replaced remote/receiver first, still a delay but better, tried new blue remote on 1284131 and now a delay, replaced esc on 144010 and delay was gone. It’s both esc and remote

Yes, all the Wltoys ESC has a very minor delay and many of the cheaper ESC too, not enough for me to worry about. Sometimes it's part of the design. Arrma Vortek is a good example of soft start and people perceive it as delay. Amain has a good video review comparing it with Traxxas . What ESC did you go for?

Get an old version Transmitter (Silver wheel) www.ebay.com/itm/334023157130 or the latest version (Colorful design) will eliminate it

My v2 124016 keeps flashing red when trying to use 3s lipo but doesn't do It when 2s lipo is plugged into it????

Ok i found the solution. You have to first start the remote, and then the car while at the same time pressing down the bind button.

@@stefankanis7994 Binding Instruction: 1. Hold the "BIND" button from the receiver while powering on. 2. Wait for 2 beeps and release "BIND" button. 3. Power on transmitter, rotate steering wheel.

Just got my wltoys 124017 today and it let out the magic smoke on 3$, i changed my esc to a hyper go h16bm esc it has the 4300 kv motor and separate receiver man that hyper go esc makes mine scream with no delay, i also replaced my radio
