Hello, I bought the same parts but mine didn’t came with screws, also ball joint holes are bigger for the ball joints on the car. Which dimension screws do I need for these alloys? Thank you

Any decent shock you can with legit a drop or 2 max, lube them up even if it's more spring on a rob instead of an hydraulic shock it's still gonna be more smooth and last just a tad longer!

I wish this kit was more of a "drop in" kit. I can't say I trust myself enough to modify the metal bits to make them fit properly.

There's bits from the kit you can still use without having to mod anything, it's an easy mod, pretty sure you can purchase the part I had to mod, I qas just inpatient lol

Hello. I have the k989 as well so it will pair with my charger but I’m curious about that tiny 400mah battery. Do you use the cheap usb charger or a proper LiPo charger? I bought a adapter to fit the tiny balance pins but I noticed my charger amps are limited to 1-3 amps. Im curious if I need to upgrade to a better LiPo charger to charge these tiny LiPo’s with lower amps? What are your thoughts? I appreciate. Thanks.

There is a new alloy kit that also has the toe arms. I assume this fixes the toe issue.

how did you get the bearings out of the front arm. Im struggling to get it out and mine didnt come with any installed

Just give them a push with small screw driver to the opposite direction the will come out 👍🏻

For the ones that have patience to get out the file or something like a Dremel or clone thereof when taking stuff/bits out permanently files help you to carve and flatten or take away and I myself lose a good Dremel clone and turn the rmp to the lowest put my precision snakehead on (not needed yet handy) and don't wait to see stuff fly off once you hear it, stop. That was maybe all it needs ie one would say you use a little sandy disk these definitely CAN cut so beware? But have fun because with some finesse you can get these litlle inconsistencies out of the way!!

I haven't done anything with it at the moment, to be really honest as a 4wd car with plastic drift rims it drifts well enough as is, but if your looking at doing a rwd conversion you'll need the shocks to work well 👍🏻

The car rtr are £40, the carbon chassis upper and lower are £15, and all the red allow bits all for £20 total so far £75

I've got this little rocket. It's good standard. But will be better upgraded. I just ordered a 4 pack of different sized gears to start with. I will get all the other upgrades in time.
