Other than having your terminology reversed, regarding the LEGS movement, this was a nice video. Yes, you WERE referring to the BODY position, but most of us will say the LEGS position changes, not the body of the quad. Keep up the good work.

Got my q333a yesterday in the post, and all I can say is its a fab drone, seeing it on KZbin does not do it justice, the led lights, are brighter and more powerful then they appear on KZbin, and its heavier then it looks, that did surprise me, the screen looks great as well, so all I can is anyone out there who is thinking of buying it, take a tip buy it. you wont regret it. It looks great. Thinking of getting some dark metallic model paint, to make it look a bit like an Inspire 2.

I know this is an older review but I lost my q333a to a tree in Oct of 2017. It stayed all winter up in that tree. I live in Alaska and it hit -30 a few times. Last week we had a windstorm with 70mph gusts. It blew the drone outta the tree. I put it on a heater for 3 days, charged up the original battery and slammed it back in the drone. Lights went on and all 4 motors work. I ordered a arm which broke in the initial impact and plan on making her fly again. Amazingly tough bird.

Just bought the Q333-A for 100$ from gearbest. It´s very stable and fast at 100%. Mine has no jello for the recordings. It does autosave the video every 3 minutes. But beware: You have to secure the battery with sticky tape, because it does vibrate loose during flight and the quad will fall like a rock. And the transmitter range is very limited to no more then 80-100 meters. So you will have to do a range mod with better antenna on the transmitter. Mine dropped out of the sky 3 times (2x loose battery and 1x over the range) but still in good condition. Very nice looking and fun to fly quad ! And the guys who compare it to the Inspire 1 and complain about the useless raising arms. It´s a 100$ toy grade quad and not a 3000$ pro quad. I like the raising arms feature, because it looks nice and the other toy grade quads don´t have it.

I was the first one to review this quadcopter in English by the way....LOL what do you think about your new hat cam camera? and is the lens a standard lens comparable to the standard lens on the Mobius? everything looks about the same as it always did as far as depth and how far away everything seems ...very comparable to the Mobius standard lens. did you have to do anything in post or does it record this way ? one thing I did notice the mic doesn't sound quite as good as the one on the Mobius.??

The video from it seems to be much sharper than from the Mobius, even at 1080p 30fps. But you're right, I'm not too thrilled with the audio. It may have been the wind, but I'm going to give it one more try on a less windy day.

Given that this is has the larger 7.4V motors, does this have enough power to lift an action cam like the Syma X8? If so, then the moving motor pods may actually have some use. Even if not, I did notice, however, that the horizontal bands on the video disappeared when the motor pods were raised.

Hi Quadcopter 101, I have a question about picture quality. I build decks for a living, and would like to purchase a reasonably priced quadcopter to take aerial shots. I am a beginner, with experience flying 4ch/6ch single propeller helicopters. Would this take decent quality still pictures and be easy enough to fly, or should I look in another direction? Just got mine. Big and Scary for a newbee. I will leave it on the shelf untill I gain more confidence. My current quads have altitude holdand /or gps.. This does not. Any tips on keeping it level or at what height?

When I raise the arms to the upper position during flight it loses power and falls out of the sky. Happend about 10 times. When the arms don´t move anymore and you hear a rattling noise then the motor-driven gear does not touch the arms anymore. It´s a easy fix. Remove white plastic shells and 9 countersunk screws from the body shell. Before taking the body shell apart, mark the position of the two arm gears with white paint dots. Put a piece of foam in the square of the opposite side of the motor, so the foam adds a little pressure to the motor housing. Now the arms will work again. Next mod i will do, is to solder a HXT plug instead of the 3-pin plug. So I can use my Syma X8G batteries. And remove the white cap from the original battery and use it on the quad again.

Thank you for pointing out the pointlessness of the raising/lowering landing gear. May have some weight/balance advantages but overall it's a pricey gimmick. That said the Inspire looks great, even sinister in the air and this quad didn't disappoint in that regard. Wouldn't recommend this to anybody but it does look excellent in the air.

It's like bluetooth. Simply a single data connection between your phone and the quadcopter for sending the video data stream. But WiFi FPV video is also very problematic as compared to 5.8 Ghz FPV fliers. Expect reduced range of both the quadcopter and video, poor video reception, and poor video resolution. Don't really recommend it.

It's a legitimate China retailer, no better or worse than most. Takes about 3 to 4 weeks to cross the world by boat to arrive at your door. But I don't know about Denmark's customs or if they Denmark has any import taxes or fees. You're going to need to check that out for yourself.

thats not real an update. the dji f450 is a very good beginner copter. since you get at least the basics of quad flying. the whole finished quads are sluggish, have bad video and poor Range.

A = 5.8Ghz FPV with 2MP camera, B = WiFi FPV with 0.3MP camera, C = No FPV and 2MP camera only

But I guess the best compromise is the B, given the unit has a 100mt operative range... this way you can link to your mobile phone as a screen, no need for the proprietary lcd display - am I right?

Thomas Samoht I strongly discourage you from considering WiFi FPV. WiFi operates on the same 2.4Ghz as the quadcopter's controller, and will greatly degrade its range (expect 50 meter range instead of 100 meters). Video from WiFi FPV fliers is also usually terrible as it is downgraded to speed up the data stream. And finally WiFi FPV is usually very choppy with frozen frames, and thus difficult to fly with.

What constitutes a toy vs a hobby quality quad to you? I'm just wondering as I find it's different to different people. By the way love your channel.

There really is no standard. And there's nothing really wrong in flying a toy grade as they can be excellent for learning the basics of flight with. But most might agree that brushless motors would probably be at the top of the list for transitioning from toy grade to hobby grade. However, I don't feel that brushless motor quadcopters are appropriate for beginner fliers as they can also be harmful due to their extra power and speed of rotation.

"UNIQUE" for a toy quad. Most quads are alike, they're shaped like an X or a +. This one is Cool because it can transform it's landing gears. No special reason or function on this quad but cool non the less to mimic the true Inspire........Just cool and a neat addition to someones collection.

This one Q303-A) by far. Here's a tip, generally try to avoid WiFi FPV quadcopters. The WiFi operates on the same frequency as the quadcopter's controller. This causes interference, and greatly reduced range (generally halved) of both the quadcopter's control and WiFi video. Additionally WiFi FPV received and recorded video is usually very poor with lag, frozen frames, and low resolution (480p or less). The only reason they are offered is that they can be sold cheaper than a 5.8Ghz FPV flier, as the user is providing their phone as the receiving screen (instead of a provided 5.8Ghz receiver screen).

First turn on the quad and place it on a flat and level surface. Next turn on the transmitter and bind it to the quadcopter For WLToys calibration, they usually need to set the rates to 80% or 100% (expert rate if 80 or 100 are not available). Next move and hold both control sticks to their lower left corners until the quadcopter's lights blink. Let go of the sticks and try flying.

I always recommend the Syma X5C for new fliers, due to its excellent stability, durability, and ease of flying. And it even has a camera too. Use it to learn the basics of flight with. Let this cheap quadcopter take the inevitable crashes and bangs of a beginner flier. And if you break it, every part on it is cheap, widely available, and easily replaceable.
