This song came out in like 2018 and it did its big one period.....1.8 billion views and over 20M likes just amazing queens. Also, dude inna middle what are u talking about how was the ending "stagnant"? I mean yes we value opinions but you clearly have a misconcepton of what stagnant means as the end of the song was very lively and upbeat. IDK.... if the song is not your cup of tea fine ...but when you are saying that it felt like that part of the song was outta place thas a different story bc that was the PRODUCER'S choice in how they made the song...not really sure what kind of ending you would like? Not a blink but I think the song that put’s people on, even not exposed to Kpop is « whistle » and « playing with fire » because it’s less « messy » in terms of instrumentals I feel like people click more to these 2. A lot of their title tracks and Teddy’s productions are super loud and the production can sometime feel overwhelming and too much for a non Kpop person.

I think it's nice to have reactors that are real and really say when they don't like the song, when that's not their taste or favorite style or for some other reason. But people are coming to complain here when you put the "producer" card, when it's only a taste thing. If there is something Blackpink is really praised worldwide is for their production. I mean, Teddy is the one behind it and this different sound intrigued the world, it's catchy, but it's risky, cause he puts a lot of elements and change them a lot, but never too brutally (that you may not like it, that's okay). That alongside their set designs, their flows and charisma made Blackpink the most subscribed artist in KZbin (surpassing Justin Bieber) and they are loved by international viewers of a lot of nationalities, cause their music mixes a lot of influences and kind of makes them enjoyble for almost everyone. Since their huge success, a lot of people tried to replicate his formula (even these producers who think they are better) and they can't. So you hit a very questionable place haha we don't really mind if the song is not your taste or even Blackpink, the group is really EDM based, so you may not like it (but their live performance they change to a live band, so it's more like Rock based, you may enjoy more, try the live version of this song in Coachella), but questioning the producer's ability was too arrogant, that's why people are mad haha

In Korean there is a distinct difference between dd and d (or just double letters in general) that is pretty much necessary for speaking Korean I don’t speak Korean so there is probably a better way to word that but there is definitely a difference between double letters and it’s usually hard for foreigners to properly pronounce

As a western music listener most producers here are clueless, lazy, and just repeat the same crap, I'm a musician so western music I stick to rock and some hip hop more older stuff like Cypress and Public Enemy. Kpop producers know how to make a song that just isn't repetitive garbage that has been done hundreds of times. Some people are simple though they want a simple songs with simple production that has been done before. They are lazy and want it safe which is their choice until they start a channel claim to be something that is a professional when they are not and use that to dismantle other's music. It's all good since you are a producer I'm sure you make plenty of coin and don't need youtube views since I won't be back and I'm sure many other's won't ever click on you channel again so good thing you are a widely known and successful producer.
