Hello Mr Hassaan, for question 8 part c, Why cant I just say (x-4)(x-10)=0 then expand it to find the quadratic equation?

Watch from 11:00 you must include the a in case there was a common factor in each term

Sir, If we had the maximum points instead of the minimum would we have wrote (x+p)^2 or would it be the same to find the quadratic equation

because there is a term that is being multiplied to with the quadratic, there will be a coefficient to x^2
