asmr itself edges on the categorization of being a fetish, whether or not it relaxes you.... a better example would be take any person who isn't familiar with asmr and stumble upon somebody watching it - both parties would feel that sense of awkwardness similar to when you are watching an intimate scene in a movie with your parents.

This actually gave me asmr. It's nice and gentle and slow. It feels natural, and the sounds aren't overdone or too rough. I think focussing on whispering is great as it feels like a really personal interview with the celeb.

People don’t understand what asmr does for people like me, who have always had anxiety and panic.. restlessness. A lot of brain activity firing a thousand miles per hour.. this soothes me, like it puts me in a trance.. calms my nerves.. every wave that comes eases me and relaxes me.. it’s not a joke, but for people who don’t suffer from these things won’t and don’t understand, and that’s ok, it’s not for them. Thank you for taking this seriously because these videos help so many of us.. just my 2 cents.

I met Olivia about two months ago (definitelty one of the top five sweetest, smartest, most genuine souls I’ve ever met in my life & I’m so thankful I had the chance to meet her. And even more so that I was lucky enough to personally have a conversation with her & ask her for her advice on being a woman in the film industry) so it makes it so weird to hear her doing ASMR when it’s someone I’ve heard speak in person not too long ago. Maybe even creepy (but admittedly, still enjoyable cause Olivia does it well, not gonna lie ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ). Especially when I’ve never listened to ASMR from someone I’ve spoken to in person... definitely didn’t think I’d be in this predicament a couple of months ago & would’ve never believed you if you told me I would be hahaha...
