these decelerations and departures from stations are so smooth in this video! automatic train control must've still been around on the green line in 2014. usually, all braking is erratic manual, and trains have to nudge forward after halting at wrong place along platform

Hey, I propose that the green line can go to the Washington/Baltimore international airport and continue until reaching Baltimore and the Baltimore metro subway, absorbing that system into the metro, dubbing it the turquoise line. ¿You like my idea?

The Baltimore metro subway line is also green so it would just be the green line they can’t absorb both systems into each other and share each other’s tracks because the tracks and tunnels in dc are designed to accommodate the 1000 and 6000 series railcar set which are Chubby and long and the rail cars in Baltimore are a lot heavier than the ones in dc would put more stress on the rails which are designed to accommodate the 1000 series and 6000 series which are the more lighter cars the rails could hold but the heavier cars would just wear the rails out and the new 7000 series are already taking care of wearing the rails out I do like your idea it would go more places and it would be more convenient

If you start at Branch ave and Huntington (my station) there on separate tracks until they reach L'efant plaza. Once they reach L'efant plaza, they collide the rest of the way from L'efant Plaza to Greenbelt

No the yellow line stop at l.plant and the green line stop at branch avenue and the yellow line stop at Huntington metro station

That is true. It could use flavor to replicate it's surroundings but D.C. is full of stone structures; pretty much simple design to save money.
